Hey Wes! Excellent and complete presentation of building a landing page in WP. But this was so much more. You did a fantastic job of 'demystifying' the many different facets of the dashboard in Elementor, and how many of the regularly needed and used functions actually work. This was a great tutorial in both building a landing page and how to use the most popular elements in the dashboard. Bookmarked for sure. Hi, Wes. Thanks a bunch for this tutorial. I've redesigned my WP site a half-dozen times or more, always using what I know or am learning. Elementor sits unused because I couldn't make sense of it. (Ummm... a YT would've answered my Qs. Duh!). In fairness, I'm 100% all-in as I build my microbiz after retiring early from teaching. Looks like today was the day to learn how PERFECT Elementor is for me. The building blocks fit nicely in my left-brain, organized teacher thinking - as I redesign for my creative business site. LOL Thanks so much. I've even already looked into the Pro version (not finished watching yet). If there's an affiliate link, I'll check it out.

It's expedient at this point to put out how bad a designer I am...lol. But with your videos, I was able to build a website from the stretch, and to my surprise my client loved it. I'm new to wordpress. I followed everything in your tutorial. How do I publish this created page as a landing page only and not a site? (i dont have a wordpress site set up).

The "minimum height" option is not on my version here. I just downloaded it 2 weeks ago... so maybe they changed something. Was trying to follow along, but that one thing totally lost me. I'm thinking may this was a pro version thing..... Still, the video is fantastic... I can make it work.. will just have to figure out how to work around that issue.

Hi Wes, thank you for this amazing tutorial. I have just launched my page following the steps here. I have one question. Maybe you can help. I want to make the page into a template. Then I click "save as template" in Elementor, and the pop-up window asks me to name the template, but I can't type into the field. I tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I have a pro subscription. Where do people go from there when they click it? What link do I need to add so people will leave their email address with me? It needs some additional steps for that, right? Hi Wes, I have been trying to install the Elementor theme, however it is telling me that I need to have an upgrade in order to install it. Is that new?

Whenever I tried using the overlay and gradient my image completely disappeared. I have played with it over and over trying to figure out why I cannot see the image anymore. I adjusted the opacity but regardless the image is no longer visible. I'm sure it's a quick fix but I haven't figured it out yet. Any help welcome! Thanks for the video.
