How to Create a French Wrap Braid (ft Brooklyn from BrooklynAndBailey)
I’m SO excited to share one of our favorite #hairstyles with y’all! My girls love having their hair styled out of their faces and off their necks in the summer heat. This French Wrap Braid will do the trick! Share this tutorial with someone who you want to create this #braid on you! ☀️
Brooklyn volunteered to be my model again this week, how beautiful is her long hair?? I’ll have to use Brooklyn a lot more now as my hair model, since Bailey, Rylan, and NOW Kamri all have short hair! 😂 Styles like this can of course be created on shorter hair, but I just love how it looks on Brooklyn’s long hair since there is so much more volume in the braid!

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Pick up a section from the front of the head and separate it into 3 sections...
Step 2: Create one stitch like a normal French braid...
Step 3: Subdivide off a smaller section from the left section of hair, wrap it over the braid, all the way around (joining it back with its original left section)...
Step 4: Cross the left section over just like you would for a normal french braid...
Step 5: Repeat on the right side...
Step 6: Stop about halfway down the head and tug out some of the loops that you have created - this starts to give the braid a fluffier look...
Step 7: Continue braiding down the hair, fluffing out the loops as you go down (you should see zig-zags all the way through the hair)...
Step 8: As you reach the neck, continue with a normal 3 strand braid, but with the following steps...
Step 9: Continue subdividing small pieces from each section and wrapping them around the braid, joining them back with their original section before completing the next stitch.
Step 10: Secure with a hair elastic, adjust the pancaked elbows of the braid to your liking, and add hairspray to help hold flyaways (if desired).
