Do we need to practice the "6 sentences" parajumble type questions wherein the first and the last statement remain the same ? Are they relevant to CAT, SNAP, NMAT etc ?

Dii Can you make a video on how do placments occur at IIM ? Like do the companies consider previous years academic scores or is it just based on how we perform in our 2 years at our MBA program ? What is the usual criteria of the comapnies ? Do even people fail to get a job at IIM ? It'll be of great help Dii if you help me and others to clear this doubt. Thank You Dii.

Dii I wanted a suggestion, should I start solving RCs on my own if my coaching institute has not started with it yet and is their any basic we should need to cover before solving RCs. How many RCs you would advice to solve on daily basis and should we practice VA questions on daily basis? Kindly give your valuable feedback!!!

Thanks a lot, Tanisha :) And yes, there's no reason why you should wait for your coaching institute to teach RCs. You can begin solving them on your own - there's not so much theory to solving RCs, just a need to understand the logic of why an option is correct/incorrect - I have shared a sample in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWp9qbKxmZmuZaw.html Your daily practice depends on your own ability to take out time - start off with as many as you can and try increasing the number daily. I used to solve 5-6 RCs on average. And yes, VA can be practiced daily too.

Thanks a lot ☺️ I'll try creating a video on that, but to put shortly - the linear arrangement type calls for making the right diagrams, thinking of multiple ways to decode the constraints. If you're not able to solve it on your own, try analyzing the solution to get better at it.

Now days in bank exams seldom they give to solve para jumble but if someone would be able to grap the secret of solving para jumble ...that would give his or her edge over competitors if para jumble comes in exams !!!

Thanks a lot, Hitesh :) Since I studied from only one of those institutes, it's difficult for me to compare them. But, I can share the teaching methodology at IIM-A. We used case studied & classroom discussions for most of our courses - the case studies are mostly by Harvard & other Ivy League schools. After each case, we discussed & put forth our points, resulting in a rich knowledge transfer & better decision making. There are a variety of exercises/experiments conducted in multiple courses which help us experience real-life situations in a classroom setting, e.g. negotiation, conflict management, understanding the role of emotions in decision making, etc. The courses are not limited to theory - beyond marketing, finance, HR, we also had courses that enriched us as a person - including ERI, behavioural sciences, individual and group dynamics, etc. Overall, my experience of having studied at IIM-A has been equivalent to a joyous ride full of immense learning - both about business and life in general. In most MBA colleges, there has been an effect of COVID wrt placements - but the top 10 institutes are less affected. The placement reports are all in green. But the sentiment on campus is not as lively as it used to be, with many activities restricted or not happening at all, the students surely missed out on some events that were a hallmark of our campus lives. The situation will only improve once COVID cases are significantly low - all across the country, especially Mumbai and Delhi where most recruiters come from. So, I guess a year or two is what we are looking at for things to stabilize. B-schools are meant to teach you about businesses - both starting & managing one. So, that's a given, especially at IIM-A.

I just tried to solve 2 - 3 para jumbles of 2017 my God. In school days we use to say this is so easy, but now I came to know 🤐🤐

Hi ma'am, thank you for the video. I have a small concern though. While practicing parajumbles, I've realized that actively looking for the 'opening statement' may backfire sometimes because it is not necessary that the lines given have been taken from the beginning of a passage of a paragraph. Sometimes the first sentence may not be generic, but simply be the starting point of a coherent paragraph. Is intentionally looking for an opening statement still a good strategy?

Hey Yash, thank you so much :) Personally, I didn't focus on vocabulary for the very reason that it's limitless. Instead, I just remained curious while coming across new words and made sure to google them - that's all I did.

There's only little one can do to save time while solving para jumbles. That's why I never prioritized them.

Oh, thank god! yesterday I didn't get the time to comment on this video and thought because you reply on the night you'll already be replied and I miss that, so thanks for the video and I think you didn't find the file it's okay. I have a suggestion like you make some videos of IIM A long ago but that was so motivational so try that also. And yesterday I was at IIMA website there is written out the program that is ePost Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics (ePGD-ABA) like what is this one, this was there when you at IIMA, they have written it's partly online and partly campus so is it because of COVID or they do it on campus usually before COVID? One program i know is PGDBA that provide by top three institude IIM C, IIT K & ISI Kolkata, but it has to much high level of maths is IIMA program is something like that?
