How to Cover Hair Comb with Fabric by Hand - DIY Sewing Comb for Bridal Veil
In this Video I show you how to cover a Plastic Hair Comb with Satin Fabric (or you can use Fabric of your choice)
If you don't like the look of having your comb covered with strips of Tulle or Ribbon, this is more basic and cleaner look.

All you need is :
Plastic Hair Comb
Small piece of Fabric
Glue Stick
3 x tiny clips
Needle and Thread,
Grid Ruler
Disappearing Ink Marking Pen
Scissors
Sewing Machine
Iron and Ironing Board
Follow simple steps to create a beautifully covered Hair Comb.
This is a great way to stitch your bridal wedding veil onto a comb.
You can also cover with any fabric you desire to get that one of a kind look!
Using fabric from any garment project will allow you to match the outfit.

@@NotchesSewing, thank you for answering my question. I do not think it will be hard ,as the picture she sent me of the vail, looks like it has very little gathering, but most vails I’ve made have lots of gathering.

if it has very little gathering, you can just stitch that gathered stitched directly onto the fabric edge of comb. IF there is a lot of gathering, cut a piece of the matching tulle to create a binding to house the gathered section. Gather the section to be same width as your comb and stitch on top of fabric band of comb. Make sure to sew on the correct sided of comb depending on how the veil is worn on the hairstyle. How do I add in the tulle so the raw edge is hidden in the fabric on the comb?

you'll need to cover the ends and then attach to the fabric on the comb. Try cutting a length of tulle and use it like a double folded bias binding to cover the ends
Is this application only for plastic combs?
