I originally skipped over the story just to see the process of covering up the black eye, but after hearing your comment at the end went back to watch. I appreciate this video. I have a wedding this weekend to attend as well as my degree party for getting my bachelor's and I have bruises from being assaulted by a random stranger. This will help to focus on the positive, and not have everyone's attention on the assault.

Person Same happened to me,two girlfriends and I got our asses kicked by two badass tomboy bitches, late night in Miami, that caused me to reduce my nights out, but I think the problem is staying very late when you go out to party, so when i go out I don´t stay too late to avoid brwls against drunk, jealous and dangerous bitches

Amber H has very light skin, as you have covered yours up which you did a nice job you can tell you have a lot of makeup on and when the picture is darken a little you can also tell a difference from once side to another. With AH she had a lot of studio lights on her and with her fair complexion you could see she didn't have any bruise or swelling under her makeup, she was picture perfect.

Besides that, this girl right here is the example of how being assaulted looks like. Now if AH was assaulted with rings on fingers, how come she ended with a little tiny bruise?

@@LightandDarkSavior Yeah, the only picture she had of bruising that looked like it might be legitimate rather than the result of messing with saturation levels was after the supposed "headbutt". According to her story, JD leaned back then came down full force into her nose with his head. According to JD's story, she started hitting him in the head from behind, he turned around and tried to restrain her arms, she kept trying to hit him and their foreheads knocked together in the struggle. The picture of her light bruising is far more consistent with his story than hers.

Even if Amber said she covered the bruise's colour with the makeup maybe people would have believed her, which many did initially. But, she sworn to have covered the swelling and clot inside the eye with the makeup(LOL) and reduce it dramatically with ice. That's where she lost the game imo.

Also, amber said she first applies foundation, then concealer then colour correction. This girl did colour correction , concealer then foundation. Other way around

I have a nasty habit of always fighting back even if the numbers are against me, when it comes down to it I would die before I show any form of weakness. I'll go down swinging before I let something even think they've got the better of me. You're brave. Be proud.

Preach it! I am the same way! I am 5’3” and am an absolute beast if I’m physically attacked, I become feral, can take punches to the face like a man, and don’t stop swinging until it’s over. I am not afraid of any man never mind women. While that might appear as bravey to others it’s a strength borne out of necessity to survive it. It’s now a source of strength and fearlessness, and it’s helped me overcome a lot in my life

Thank you for showing this video. I do mixed martial arts and I couldn't find ANY video that could actually help me cover the extent of the darkness. I appreciate it girl!🥰🌹🙌

This literally happened to me yesterday, a tweaker hit me cause I didn’t give him money. Now I have a Huge bruise on my face. I’m so sorry this happened to you and I can totally relate :/

I have a black eye from a color guard accident, and I had to try and cover it up with a red lipstick and foundation and concealer. I had to take my school picture that day to! He picture turned out okay, to where you could barely tell I had a swollen black eye underneath it. But i will definitely use these makeup over the next few days to make me not look crazy

Had a septoplasty and got a really intense double bruise under my eyes and I'm mostly healed up but my eyes still look awful. I used paranoia mixed with seize on the full spectrum urban decay pallet and that worked well for covering the bruises. I can still see a tiny bit, but it's not noticeable if you aren't looking for it

on 4th of July I got beat up by someone I thought was my friend. So now I’m here

I fell really sorry for you plz rest up atm ur eyes need plenty of rest so it can heal I understand ur pain because I had a black eye and if hert I went to work and didn't have the best of days people where looking at me strangely thank you from for telling me how to cover up a black eye to be honest I did cover it up a bit for u could still see it and now my face has healed 💖 I understand oversally u would want to do the right think but sometimes it's not in our hands u just have to give up and befriend the enemy

Thank you so much. I just had a seizure sitting at my kitchen table and I fell forward and hit my face on the wooden table. I woke up on the floor with a swollen shut eye. It's opened back up but still bruised really bad. I've been wanting to leave the house but not looking like this. You just helped out so much. So sorry you had to experience what you went through. Karma is a bitch. They will get what's coming to them.

Thank you for this tutorial. I got a blk eye playing Frisbee with our golden retriever because I tripped over a tree root n face planted. Luckily, I didn't get hurt very badly. Mostly just bruised.

Sorry bout ur dad man I been there. Jus try ur best to be on ur best behavior and to understand often that ur dad is jus miserable from life and wants to take it out on the slightest offense. He wants to be a good father, just like you wanna b good to ursrlf, but you both fail sometimes.

@@SS-oe4cz it took few months around 3-4 month I believe I initially did a lot of icing after the crash for first 1-2 days and after that I don’t do anything went away on its own.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well it covered but I walked away for a few minutes and came back... While the bruise is covered I can still kind of see puffiness and peau d'orange. I wonder if a subtle contour could disguise that?

I hoped I never get into a situation that I get to use this but it happened, and is so true about the looks you get from people on the street who stare at you and the first thing that people ask me is if I'm okay and I if got these from my partner and if I wanna make a police report, and I really don't feel like explaining that it was caused by a crazy woman who out of nowhere got off her car screaming an audible things and since I didn't know her didn't realize at the moment that she was talking to me so I didn't pay any attention, I was trying to close the door of my house and taking the trash out and when I turn my face that's when she hit me in the eye, yes, I did thought about defending myself at the moment (I have a brass knuckle with my keys) but my racional side thought that it was better not to react to this since a) she was the triple of my size and definitely had more strength, also she was under some drug effect cause she could barely speak and totally frenetic and b) with or without the brass knuckle there was no way I could won and she could come back for revenge and she knew where I lived so... knowing when not to to react can be a good thing sometimes, so this is my 4th day so is still swollen a little and very dark so I'm still treating but is not that painful, thanks again and sorry for the long text and my bad English (I'm from Argentina so it's not my native language) thanks take care and be safe!

It has been a month for me to use any makeup i still have to use red or orange corrector under the eyes to not make it look as blue or gray looking when i put makeup because girl i was for sure it looked soo much worse with makeup 😂

I was in a car accident the other day and it broke my nose so I have a black eye. I was looking to cover it because tomorrow night my boyfriend and I are going out for Valentine’s Day because like you said... people assume the worst lol

the Girlfriend A friend of mine fell off the steps of the house and landed face first she had a swollen nose and two black eyes the same hemorrhage damage you have only a bit worse . They went to Sturgis Biker rally the next day .And several people there wanted to kick my friends butt ,thinking he was an abuser ,and had caused the damage to her . She attempted to cover it with makeup but the swelling around the nose was easy to spot ...Thank you for sharing this video. I too have been attacked randomly for no real reason and as a guy we usually don't know the first thing about makeup ,so if i attempted to cover up a bruise i would totally fail at it .

True Janie in the USA you wouldn't have a black eye to cover up. You'd have a hole in your head from the semi automatic the teen down the road bought.
