How to Correctly Deal with Injuries

There is always something to work on.
When I was 16 and 17 years old, both my back leg round kicks got strong.
Short, medium or long range, I was able to make it hit.
What many people don't know is that my left leg developed because I tore my right hamstring in training.
Instead of sitting out for 3 months - I trained everything with my left leg for 3 months.
Running up and down the room = hopping on one foot if it didn't hurt.
Right leg kick then left leg kick combination = I kicked my left leg twice.
By the time my right leg healed - my left was faster and stronger than my right.
On National Team, I developed my left TKD punch when I injured my right shoulder,
I did every punch with my left hand, because I couldn't with my right.
By the time my right fully healed, I could use my TKD punch both sides.
As a father think about it like this - if you're injured- you get more time with the kids - so use the time.
Life will whip you backwards if you spend too much time in one area.
And as a father you need to get the balance right.
Working too hard = getting sick more often.
Instead of looking at injuries or setbacks as hurdles to hold you back,
Think about it like this - I've been spending too much time developing this portion of my life.
What part of my life do I get to develop now?
There is always something you can be doing to improve.
Maximize your time. Don't let it be an excuse to sit on the sidelines
