Epic, as most my followers know, was actually a nickname given to me by a very good friend of mine. Something I took and used for a stage name type of thing for KZread and people enjoyed it, accepted it, and now I'm here today. I know my name can be misleading & can easily be misjudged for a huge ego, but I do well to not overglorify myself, as we're all just a bunch of talking monkies on an organic spaceship flying through the universe.

What makes you stand out from everyone else , in my opinion, is that you learn everything both sides; you don't favour one over the other. Keep up the sick work!

If anyone is still having trouble with corks after watching this, try this other tutorial as well ! Cork Tutorial: + Gainer Progression Tips Both of these really helped me improve my corks, i can land them on my knees on an airtrack now where as before I couldnt even get the full twist before hitting the ground ! Thanks again for a brilliant tutorial Kyle, you're always the best

the way i learned to spin faster, not professionally or anything but on my own, was just to jump straight in the air and do a 360 spin. Then try 540, 720 and so on. This helps you learn how to pull for a faster spin because you only need to focus on the spinning and not any flipping. Then, when you feel comfortable spinning fast and landing on your feet, try to do the cork and use the same power you were using to spin on your feet. You'll spin a lot faster than you used to. This worked for me :)

Hey Epic! Just wanna ask how long did it take you to learn both sides? I do gymnastics and plan on changing my twist to turn right rather than left. I naturally round off right and twist left which I just realized dont work together. Thing is, if i were to imagine i was doing a cork, I'd be swinging my right leg and twisting left but if i changed my twists and such to turn right, then corking left would intervene with my mindset. Hope you understand! Thanks :)

So i was under the impression that a cork was like, a gainer full. but now it seems more like, an inverted spin? more emphasis on the spin, and a little less on the flip? more so your feet arent going straight over your head, but like, more of an angle? Ive been trying to teach my friends who can do fulls more tricking stuff like a cork, have i been telling them wrong?

As I lift and swing through I can't seem to get the wrap. How can I wrap, like are there any progression drills? I am lacking the confidence to do the wrap itself but I can cheat gainer fine and gainer fine. I can do a full twist and I just want to know how I can do the cork. Thanks Epic, your tutorials are great! I learnt all my tricking moves from your videos.

Have you made any full on attempts, if so how did you land? Or better yet, do you have videos of your attempts, if you do, link them in a comment so I can see what you're doing wrong.

Correct. Corkscrews are not flips. They are categorized with twists. Your body is supposed to remain horizontal throughout the execution of the skill. Despite their differences, corks are closely related to Tong Fei's (b-twists). This is due to their off-axis nature and their almost identical inversion near the end of both skills. Gainer Fulls (brother of the cork) are true flips because the body rotates directly over the head but they are more difficult than corks.
