If you put a lid on top after you put the eggs in, it sort of steams the top of the eggs so there's not that slimy part. They end up being cooked like they're easy over, without the risk of breaking them when you flip them.

Yes! I drop a bit of water in the pan and cover them and cook them low and slow and they turn out well done and perfectly cooked. My pan is well seasoned though. I don't flip them either.

Wow!!! What a pro! I am too a VERY picky eater. The yoke has to be cooked all the way! I need some advise though. We live in the city and they just recently let us have hens, but we need a chicken coop. We don't really have any building wood and have no idea how to build anything. Can you do a video on how to make a coop. PS. I asked you because i love the way you made yours!

Whenever bird eggs of any kind are hatching, it best to stay away from the nest as not to stress the Mom.. When stressed, the Mom can and sometimes do injure the chicks... Keep noisy kids and pets away... And sometimes, they will peck you.. Give her time to get settled with her chicks..

What's the plan for all those ducks? Sell them? Raise them for meat, egg-laying, or pest-control? I know ducks are slug-eaters, but how many do you generally need, and what do you do with the rest?

  • @Silverjerk

Your pan is likely improperly seasoned, and you're not using enough fat to cook them. Be generous with the fat. If you need to re-season your pan, rub the interior with oil/fat, turn it upside down and bake in your oven for about an hour. There are some great videos on KZread for seasoning a skillet.

She just showed cooking eggs in a rusty pan (not properly seasoned). Boedy Pennington stripped a cast iron pan to bare metal and cooked eggs in it. Seasoning is there to protect the metal; it's not a Teflon substitute.

I hope they're eggs from the girls and not from the boys. LOL, just kidding. Dark yellow is the best you can get. There are more vitems in dark yolk. I noticed that the store brand was stuck. You can also taste the difference between store bought and farm fresh eggs.

Runny whites just indicate older eggs, darker yolks from different chicken feed. You're cooking on rust which can cause stomach aches, and possibly heart attack: www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20001025/too-much-iron-may-lead-to-heart-attack#1

they dont look very pretty with this method. making 4 at a time results in funky shaped eggs by having to cut them apart. this is a pretty long video to present a slapdash method of making fried eggs.. E+ for extreme effort.
