When we mark our drive d or any other driver as active and when you restart your computer it shows orange screen or says "an operating system wasn't found". How can we fix it without getting a bootable pendrive and re-installing windows.

Watching this video in 2023. And holy hell you deserve a god damn award. I converted my 0 disk from a mbr to a gtp on my desktop which in turn caused me not to be able to launch windows again. Had get a usb to download the windows installer. But the fact that you showed us how to convert a Mbr to a gtp in such a quick, easy and efficient manner is amazing. No other video has come close to this one. Thank you very much.

I love tech , i built my PC 5 yrs ago and today after my last BIOS update , my booting started acting up . I cleaned my M.2 ssd and when i tried to install windows after activating Secure Boot in Bios ,it said that windows on EFI can't be installed on an MBR partition .. and i was like daaaamn , and then sir , i found your video ! THANKS A LOT ❤

I was trying to do a clean install of Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 and this helped me, I needed a tutorial when I downgraded and now that I'm upgrading again I had to look, this saved me from hours of frustration and regret. Some people might think that this is a fake comment but it's genuine, thank you for making the tutorial straight to the point. Many fail to do that. Much appreciated.

Such a simple fix for a ridiculously complicated problem. Honestly this video is GOLD, thank you very much.

Thanks for your help. Just to add, I have an old Dell and had to actually hit the FN + SHIFT + F10 to get it to open, and also needed to change from GPT to MBR and your tutorial worked for that as well.

thanks for the clear step by step explanation. done and installed windows 10 in my laptop after changing ssd.

I had 3 drives that were MBR and I decided to clean all of them from the windows installation screen and start from scratch and reinstall windows on a new m.2 I got. This video helped me immensely. Converted all my MBR drives and it all worked out thanks to you!

NOTE: this works great but do not run the "clean" command if you have other partitions in the disk, because it will wipe everything. Make sure you always back up your data. Cheers!

I believe it, been there numerous times. You won't believe some of the hardware I have gotten to run even Windows 11 with decent performance (so far as 2007 era hardware is concerned). If it can run 64-bit Windows 10, it will run Windows 11 when you are ready to upgrade.
