1 hectare= 10000 square meter. Not only meters.

Please correct this video. One cannot convert hectare (a square measure) to metre (a linear measure). This is mathematically totally incorrect. Conversion should only be done from one square measure to another square measure or from one linear measure to another linear measure. Hence, the conversion should be from hectare to square metre or from square metre to hectare. By not correcting this, it is showing clearly that you don't understand the difference between a square measure and a linear measure.

Square meters are still meters... so are cubic meters... so are cubic centimeters... just a 1,000,000th of 1 meter ^3

A centimeter is a hundredth of a meter.. 100 × 100 x 100 = 1,000,000... I meter cubed

1ha= 100m x 100 m = 10,000 sq meters the perimeter dimensions are 100m x 100m, could be 50m x 200m, 20m x 500m so on...

You interested in a hecter in metres when, you are interested in the Boundary / Perimeter and not area. Square, rectangle and perimeters in a hectare will all have slight difference in meters. You need this if you want to put a fence around your hectare😊

multiply the 2 sides. That gives you the area in square metres. Then divide that area by 10,000 square metres per hectare. You get your answer.

hi.the school=24360m² because 168*145=24360m². and we know that 1hectare=10 000m² then 24360m²=24360/10 000m²=2.44 hectares. and your school is 2.44 hectare. from marrakech morocco

Do you know why all Americans these days think math is hard?... it's because they are taught fractions instead of decimals... I didn't watch the video... I know metric very well... and I am not interested in listening to someone convert decimals into fractions, which is fuggin stupid... decimals are easy... fractions are hard... I saw the complicated divisions in the picture... said to myself, she doesn't have a clue.... The way to figure out if someone knows what they are talking about is when they make it sound easy... because it usually is... fractions are only used in the American system of measures... we don't use fractions anywhere else... I am working on a new calculus beyond tensor calculus... I do it in my head, because it is just numbers 1 through 9... and zeros for the placeholders... I can figure out 1 through 9... easy peasy... metric is all decimals... when you see people dividing fractions to explain metric... don't bother with the explanation... they don't understand what they're teaching
