Can you make a video on how to tranfer specific parts of a save? For example i spent 3 hours building a house in one save and want to transfer just the building to another save. I know there are folders for inventory, construction, etc so i know it’s possible, but im hesitant to try it and mess up the world i host for my friends

How do other players get onto the server at all? Will they see the helicopter crash scene from the beginning or just spawn randomly? Thank you in advance!😆 Edit: the thing is my friend and me would love to play on my single player world but we are both afraid that this will have consequences like not being able to save etc

You can save the world in mp no issues at all. Secondly if you friend is spawning in for the first time they will appear that the spawn location just like it was shown in my video.

Hey man worked for me but I have a question Now i have the same named save-folder in the singleplayer and multiplayer folder, if i save one does it update the other? or are they seperate save files now?

i hit yes to new game on my friends server that hw is hosting, I have found the save game and even put it into single player and everything is there when I play but I cannot get it to work on my friends server no matter what I do, I have to saved games in multiplayer as well but they do not show up only the new game, now what?

does SOTF need to be running while you do this? or can you do it when its off?

I recommend not running SOTF when you are doing this to be safe

what about saving again the multiplayer save to a singleplayer save? is this possible?

Followed the Video Exactly... Too easy not to mess up. Yet NOTHING is showing up in my Multiplayer Saves while playing Sons of The Forest. I see Files are in the Multiplayer Saves in %appdata%... But Nothing is showing up in-game, even after many restarts. Any solutions?

Hey mate, I am sorry for my late reply. So I tried it myself and had no issue and I was unable to find a solution on the internet. I am not sure where the issue lies. Is there anything else you could tell me, to help us narrow down what the issue is?

Yes it still possible, you can even transfer these saves to a dedicated server
