How do you conquer trauma and still be a good father? We’ve all had trauma in our lives and those that are in the field of law enforcement or firefighters, suffer thought a lot of trauma almost every single day.
In today’s episode I invited Darren Janzen on the show and got to interview him.
Darren, along with his wife, run a business called Breathe 911 where they work with first responders and help them get past the traumatic experiences they encounter in those jobs, while still being able to show up how they need to for their families.
Darren was a cop for 5 years and he was a firefighter for 10 years and experienced so many things that caused him to suffer PTSD. He was able to conquer that in his life through not only God’s help, but through specific breathing techniques and cold plunging. And now he and his wife teach other men and women in these hard fields to do the same.
