No, you should get incoming calls too. Call the Airtel customer care to see if there is some issue from their side.

Thanks for the video! I have a question: If you dial any number starting with 1860, then are the call charges added to your monthly broadband bill? (Asking because 1860xxxxx numbers are usually chargeable despite having an unlimited calling plan.)

Well, I am able to call 1860 number. I just tried connecting to Hindustan Unilever customer support that has a 1860 number and it worked. Regarding the charges, I will keep you updated when I get the next bill.

Unless you are going for the 1Gbps plan, this WiFi extender will work fine - amzn.to/3fpyqtu The WiFi extender that I have suggested in the above link supports upto 300Mbps speed. With the Ultra plan of Airtel, they give a separate powerful router anyway.

Yes, that's what it means. You can call any number via this landline and it will be free. I was using the 799 plan and have recently downgraded to 499. This service still works fine.

In which city are you from? Seems voice service is not active in my city as of now.

I am from Pune, Maharashtra. You can check with Airtel 121 customer care to see if this is available in your area. For some users, the unavailability of voice calling got resolved by calling on this number. So see if they can help.

Well, Airtel Xstream Fiber is a Broadband provided in India. It does not operate with Sim Card. It's basically a fiber optic line that gets installed in your house to which the router is connected. The phone is then connected to the router for availing the free calls service.

The actual phone needs to be purchased by you separately. They do not provide that with the broadband connection. Please check if this free calling service is available in your city before you buy a phone.

Hi Aditya, that is not possible. You will need to purchase a telephone (wired or wireless). Check this video where I have used a wireless phone instead of a corded one. - kzread.info/dash/bejne/e5WE2rd9Y8ibm6w.html This will allow you to take the handset to any room inside your house. Given that the handset is in the coverage area of the base unit.

My phone line is gone since fibre installed so do I now plug phone into new fibre box? 🤔

Hey Sahdev, Usually every phone comes with a standard telephone cable. Please check the product link in the description section of that video. It will have details about what's in the box. But to answer your question, 99% of the times, the cable is provided with the phone.

Check with Airtel customer care. Or maybe a problem with your handset too. Try with a different handset first.

Hi Rishab, I have read on their website that they do offer free calling with their broadband. But I would recommend you to confirm this once with their customer care team.

Unfortunately this service is not available in all cities :( Idk the reason, but if internet is working then the calling should work..

Hi RS Verma, I think even with the 500Rs plan it's free. You get a separate landline number with this connection. It's mentioned on your bill. Or you can call on your mobile from your landline and get the number Hope this helps

Usually it takes 5-7 days for your landline no to get registered officially. I think you called from a jio number to your landline no.. i also had the issue but now it's sorted out

Hey Akash, check the description section where you will find the link for the landline phone. It's a beetel phone.

Do you know this is Airtel fiber net box. It’s router and they are what cable using in your connection please share . Yesterday I took connection they are provided only 777VR1 router and cat 5 cable. In your router wifi calling is working or not. First wifi calling is there or not check. Use Vodafone SIM card. Then do you know. ( Airtel and jio SIM card are wifi calling sim when you put in your mobile enable in phone settings show the wifi calling) in case your use Vodafone sim there are no wifi calling not enable in settings. For that your fiber box have wifi calling settings will be enable when connect with your mobile wifi on . That wifi settings enable

Hi Arul, Wifi calling works when my Phone is connected to the Wifi of the Airtel Broadband. And yes, it's the Airtel fiber box. For connecting a landphone to your router, you need to purchase the telephone cable separately. I have provided link in the description of the video. Hope this answers your question.

The light glows after you lift up the handset. Also check if you get a dialtone on your phone. If not, then you might have to call the Airtel Customer Care team.

Yes, you can connect multiple phones in parallel with a phone splitter.

Installed all the wires and everything to the modem and telephone but couldn’t get the phone to ring a mobile number. Then last chance decided to add 0091 to the number and success. Lol

8 Digit number. But when someone is calling you, they need to prefix the STD code. This is similar to any proper landline number.

Your telephone number would be mentioned on the Airtel broadband bill. Else, to get the number, you can give a missed call from the landline to your mobile phone. That way you can identify the number assigned to you. Hope this helps. Also subscribe to my channel please.

Jab handset pick karoge to call someone, tab woh on hota hai. Basically, jab you get a dial tone on your phone. Agar wireless handset lete ho, toh, dial karte waqt tel1 indicator glow hone lagega.
