Wow thank you so much Julie! I’m so glad you found this helpful! Keeps me motivated to continue doing this!! 💪🏽💪🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Got to love how we all were driving ourselves crazy trying to use the red cable included in the box. Rode could have done a better job at explaining this. Thank you India.
I agree with all the thank you comments… thank you for making me aware of both the app and the SC6 🙏 There were times where - for some weird reason - the iPhone didn’t properly connect to the Wireless Go, and used the internal mic. Of course I have no idea of this until after the shot/interview is done. YOU ARE AMAZING!
I’ve been scratching my head for days trying to figure out how to make this work! Should have known I needed a different cable 🙃 Thanks for the video! Saved me a dive through forums 👌🏼

Great to-the-point video... I wonder why RODE didn't include this simple tip in their instruction manual. They did a great job mentioning that it works with an iPhone!!!

Do you know how to film audio live with the headphones with the Wireless GoII ?
I plugged in the TRS-TRRS cable to my phone with the lightning jack and it’s saying I’m using headphones and not picking up my audio. Any chance you know how to fix this??
Can this work with two rode go 2's on the same device

So I connected the trs / trss to the iPhone but still no audio. any suggestions?
I connected and recorded a video from my phone's camera bandit didn't switch over... Am I doing something wrong?
Does work also to connect to Teams call?
I want to know if there a way to connect Bluetooth earphones to that situation
what if i had the sc15 cable?
I downloaded the Rode Reporter and think I found the problem. Why does it still say Internal Microphone even after I plug it in (and how can I fix this)? Thanks for the video and for your reply.
Thank you for this excellent video. Well done! If you have Apple Airpods, would it be possible to use them to listen to the audio instead of using the other device to plug in wired headphones?

Depending on the app you use, you can select the AirPods as the speaker and the rode as the mics, BUT there’s crazy latency. I wouldn’t suggest that.
İ did same one but mine doesnt change internal to external 😢 still internal, idk what i should do :(

dear, with this solution, can it support the Rode Apps on iphone? or we must use the lightning to type C - SC 15 cable?

You can use the SC15 as well. This video was an alternative to that cable.

Hi it won’t work unfortunately. There’s something with the cables that doesn’t transmit the audio.
i have 2 questions. 1. is the audio actually loud enough wen we use a headfone + sc6 ? 2. does the audio still come through sc6 headphone jack if it is not plugged into a phone..?
@IndiaDelgado
2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes and I believe yes. I want to make sure I understand the second question accurately. If its the sc6 isn't plugged into a phone, where would have it connected to?
@IncurableInsanity

@@IndiaDelgado thanks for the reply.. sc6 wouldnt be plugged into anything. only the mics go into it and headphone comes out of it.. but sc6 is not plugged into any device.. does it still work.. the audio coming out of wireless go is so low in intensity that u cant use it with a audio splitter and monitor live audio. so i am wondering does sc6 amplify the audio of the wireless go loud enough to be usable for monitoring.. but i cant attach a phone to my camera rig.. hence the second question.. does sc6 work with being plugged into any device.. or does it too require phantom power.. thanks... again..
You should better take a SC15 for better sound quality
I bought everything. It works. But even with these wires, the Rode central app doesn't recognize the microphone. Any suggestions on how to proceed? or do I actually require a SC15 cable?

@@amazingchannel2023 Got it. Your best option at that point if you want to keep headphones to monitor would be to buy the Rode AI-Micro which allows you connect headphones and a lav etc. That's what I ended up switching to after I did this video.

I have the 13 and that’s what I used for the video. It’s either a faulty cable somewhere or maybe the sequence of connections may be off. I think I had that issue when I didn’t connect the TRRS side to the iPhone.
