I was having a problem myself trying to get the controller to go into Bluetooth mode, I was trying to turn the controller on first, leave it while resting ( no lights on ) hold the PS button and the button with the rays of sunshine, not the pause button. Hope this helps.

For anyone just coming to this video. I bought this controller with no PS5, for me to put it into pairing mode I had to use the left button and not the right button like he used.

If it didn’t work for you it’s bc he told y’all the wrong buttons, it’s the PS button and share button at the same time

So if you connected b4, you’ll have to “forget the device “ from your phone and then reconnect the controller.. If you connected b4 you will have to delete the old controller to re-connect to new controller

It was your miss information you have to hold the button to the left, the capture button I believe it’s called, not the start button.
