Thank you very much. I'm glad I found your review. You solved my Problem with DeltaWing configuration. Because in the manual that comes with the NX3 it does not say that you don't have to do no further programming on the Radio-Sender. That's why it didn't work. The Manual is not logic!

Actually the English manual provided with the Nx3 is surprisingly good as Chinese efforts go. Of course you have to actually read it all which quite often seems to be above a lot of folks educational level. The only omission I can see is that, though they clearly say that "The DIP switches set the WING mode. Please match the type of your plane by......" it is not hammered home that you MUST NOT have any mixing done on your transmitter when setting up to use this (and any other of this type of) stabilizer. All the mixing for plane type is done on the stabilizer.

@@MakerHand From what I can tell from the online docs the original version actually seems better in some ways. Im not sure that the Evo version has as much control over the compensation/gain?

Hello Frined you describe the set up very good. It is very simple and straight forward. However when I installed my NX3 it was working like crazy!. I set up a Delta just AIl and Elv no rudder. So basically i connected the left wing elevator servo to Ail output and the right wing elevator servo to Elv out. Then i connected 3 servo leads supplied the Ali in and Elv in and Aux 1 in on NX and in the corresponding channels on a Walkers RX601 receiver to use with Devo 7 transmitter. I set the dip switch for Delta on and the other two switches off. Powered up . I then check the 3 position Aux 1 switch on my Devo 7 pos 1 was Altitued hold ( led in NX3 flashes red rappidly ) position 2 off (the led on NX3 is off) and position 3 Gyro stabilization mode (LED is solid on red on NX3). But some thing was wong. When i pull the right stick back both the elevators should go up and and i push the stick down both elevators should go down. When I push the right stick left the left elevator should go up and the right one should go down. When I push the right stick right the right elevator should go up and the left elevator should go down. But this was not correct despite the wiring was correct. If I connected directly in the receiver and tested the movements were correct. If I connected in NX3 and receiver then the moment was strange. If i pulled the stick back only one elevator moved. If i pushed the stick forware the oppositve elevator moved. If i pushed left or right the stick only one elevator moved. So was thinking that the stabilizer was ka - put !!! But then I checked the model on my controller. when I created the model for this aircraft i set the Wing on my controller as DELTA. I changed it to Normal and yahooo!!! the controls were functioning correctly. So for DO NOT SETUP THE WING TYPE ON THE RADIO AS DELTA . LEAVE IT NORMAL NX3 WILL DO THE MIX.

I already told that you don't need any mix in your transmitter leave it in default mode and you can reverse the servo by swiping the ports

When binding the transmitter to the receiver, will you have to assign that knob to have the function to change the amount of compensation the NX3 gyro has? Is that what the AUX channel is for, or no?

It will not work without using the inbuild modes. The only option you have is to disable all mixes in your transmitter, and then use this.

Ok thanks. I got it to work in the end by trial end error just had to disable the Elveron mix in TX . Never used one before to be honest it’s off most of the time because the amount of gain l have to use to make it viable causes ridiculous control surface flutter🤦‍♂️

I have set up my (flysky - i6) TX exactly as your video but I cannot work out how you have programmed the TX utilising the WRM. Would it be possible to use switch 3 for the same pupose and acheveing a more positive control. Thanks

In i6 you have 4 main channel and 2 aux channel(channel 5 and channel 6).So you have to set you desire switch in either channel 5 or channel 6(In your transmitter). For example: if you set your switch in channel 5 then connect your Gyro module(Aux channel) to your receiver's channel 5 port.

What is the best setting of this flight controller Common or altitude hold?

The video poster made a mistake in talking about "Altitude Hold". There is NO Altitude Hold function (which would need a barometer on the board) - there is an "Attitude Hold" function.

If I have a cessna 182 with ailerons and flaps, I'd turn the ail2 button right?

Yep, AIL2 Dip switch only to the right. Aileron 2 receiver channel connected to AilR IN and your mode switch (or pot) channel connected to Aux-IN.

I think you need to reverse one servo and make sure your transmitter has no mix

@@MakerHand bro, both have been made sure earlier, is it possible that one axis ( elevator) can fail? i think its highly unlikely ..the whole unit should hav failed ,but thr aileron compensation works ..both aileron and elevator works elevon mode via joystick.but the elevator compensation does not work .in rate or hold mode..only aileron works .also ..transmitter inbuilt elevon mix is OFF

@@xtcxtc5302 Perhaps you have your Elevator setting pot set very close to the 12 o'clock null position? Turn it fully clockwise or anti-clockwise and try. A bad contact on the pot or wiper is possible but fairly unlikely.

Thank you for this nice tutorial. But I would like to connect my NXe gyro to a 4 channel receiver, is this possible? I know that I won't have any controls on my transmitter. ~Thanks

With only a 4 channel receiver for A,E,T,R the Nx3 defaults to Rate (Wind Correction)mode according to the manual.

I have a Radio FlySky "PALADIN PL18" with the Receptor FlySky "FTR10" and i can't configure the "NX3" and "NX4" with them. I tried many ways and i can't. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME? Thanks.

Hi My nx3 is not working if it tilth it no service moved. I am.using in Delta wing mode. After powering up the red light is on and servo moves. If I try to move stick servo work fine But compensating mode doesn't work

I think your Gain is off and your servo is getting signal from your tx

is it compitable with a 6 volt sattlite rx?

Third vid I've seen - the maker of these vids seems to be obsessed with 'Delta' and 'V-tail' aircraft. These are specialised aircraft, and a long way from the standard aileronr,elevator and rudder setup that the vast majority of aircraft use. Why not show how a 'normal' aircraft is set up,please?
