How to Connect Multiple LED Drivers to A Single Dimmer/Lighting Controller

In this short video tutorial, LED driver expert and Magnitude technical specialist, Matthew, explains the different methods used to connect more than one driver to a single lighting control dimmer or module. These wiring methods include positive to positive, negative to negative wire connections, and daisy chain wiring.

    The first option is a much better idea than the second. The voltage drop across each unit would become an issue very quickly if you connect them in series like that. Not to mention, if they are in series, then only one of them has to break for them all to stop working.

    Super helpful. One clarifying question, does the dimming wires connect when running in parallel happen in the same junction box as the one being used for the hot and neutral?

    Your diagram showed two wires on the driver labeled OUT. Can the drivers be daisy chained by running the OUT of the first driver to the 0-10 V of the second driver, and then OUT of the second to IN of the third and so on?

    Is it possible to do this (multiple drivers, one switch) with other dimming technologies, e.g. TRIAC, MLV, ELV, as long as total LED wattage controlled is within capacity of the switch?

    ok in ma garage I have 4 celing flat leds (120x60cm). Each panel have driver 60W 1.5A 48V...so this is 240W total. Can I buy any single 220v wall light dimmer and it sholuld work?
