Same here I just bought new tv 4K Samsung smart tv the box said it had option of screen mirroring for apple.. I asked Best Buy guy he said yes I could, this is only reason I bought it. so I could watch Disney plus on my tv instead of my iPhone 😑🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

I actually have the app on my new tv. I found it later after this comment. But I’d still like to do screen mirroring for my movies on my iPhone. But still don’t know how to do that.

Thank you! Always jump on how to videos to remember how to do things i do not do frequently. It empowers to learn from my colleagues!

Just drag the screen down from the right, click screen mirroring (after making sure your phone/iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi as the tv you want to mirror/cast them on), then a list of devices connects to the same Wi-Fi will pop up. Click the one you want, then type in the code your tv pops up. Hope this helps 👍

Thanks...got the adapter..works like a charm.

I just feel Apple is still so focused on branding that they are falling behind in terms of convenience which is what most users want. I LOVE my Roku TV and chrome cast doesn’t work for what I’m trying to display. Looks like it will be the HDMI cable for me.

I agree with others, using airplay, my phone is looking only for an Apple TV (Which I don’t have). Remember that instructional videos are for people who need help getting things set up, not a demo of all your knowledge and experience (Which is how it’s coming across at this break neck speed).

With KZread you can do it anyway by clicking that cast icon at the top it doesn’t require screen mirroring. But what would be good is if you can show how to use a web browser on your phone and to get that on ur tv or like some way to get the all 4 app to work on your tv to watch live stuff on your tv from your phone

Keep in mind for KZread you can't watch 4K from the Apple TV if that's what you are casting to. Max resolution is 1080p

So you have a cable you plug 2 ends you plugged int to the tv then you plugged an end into your phone - you either have a thee end wire or you left out some information about the cable
