Honestly, for a 73-year-old, the best option is to purchase the Avantree Ensemble and then watch the setup video once to get it up and running permanently.

The HyperX Cloud Flight should work on your TV (not all TV's are compatible). Simply plug in the Hyper X Cloud Flight's USB dongle to your TV's USB port and they should work. Bluetooth earphones should work as well. Looking at your TV model, you will need to download the Roku mobile app to connect Bluetooth headphones to the TV. What kind of Bluetooth dongle did you plug in? If you plugged in a USB dongle, it's likely that your TV's USB port is not compatible with Bluetooth dongles (meaning it does not output audio). If this is the case, that means that your HyperX Cloud will not work as well. If nothing's working for you, you can always purchase a Bluetooth transmitter which can connect to any of your Bluetooth devices. You would plug in the transmitter to your TV's Optical port and then your earphones can connect to that transmitter. Do these options work for the hdmi output as well, I was just trying to use the app but it didn’t work for hdmi

No. These only work with Digital Optical, AUX, or RCA.

I have got a Bluetooth transmitter receiver device. But, I am not able to connect it to Bluetooth speaker(it has no display). But, Bluetooth device connects with cell phone. Is it possible to pair two Bluetooth devices without any screen on it?

Is there any possible way to use headphones with hdmi?!!??

Hello I recently bought ZiiDOO 3 in 1 transmitter . I charged the device then plugged the fully charged device into my ROKU tv 3.5 MM Jack & press the pairing button when I turned my earbuds on to pair mode as well & nothing happened . Both just kept blinking blue . Can you help me ?

1) Is the 3.5mm jack labeled as "headphones"? If not it may be an input port. 2) There's a lot of wireless interference near your TV. I suggest taking your earbud and the transmitter elsewhere and pair them first.

The names of the settings will vary by TV. What you want to look for is to go into "Sound" or "Audio" and change Audio Output Format to "PCM" OR set Dolby Digital and Surround Sound to "OFF". They might not have the exact names as the ones I described here.

My roku doesn't do Bluetooth but I wanna listen with headphones still

The Bluetooth transmitter supports low latency codecs that reduce the audio lag on your headphones compared to standard Bluetooth connections. If your Roku TV supports low latency, there may not be too much of a difference.

I have a 3-in-1 Bluetooth Audio Transmitter/Receiver Adapter. My TCL doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities, I'm trying to connect to wireless headphones but I can't get it to work. I'm following instructions for transmitter but nothing is working. Tried pairing to headphones and have no idea, no lights flashing. I have transmitter plugged into the audio out headphone jack on tv. That is plugged into the RX port and transmitter device. The red light is flashing. No connection to headphones. I'm lost!!!

What model transmitter do you own? or starters, You can try to plug the Transmitter to the TV via the TX port, not the RX port.

Yea but Razer Kraken uses 2.4G technology not Bluetooth so you'll need to find a different way - Most likely you'll need to use a 2.4G audio adapter that supports digital optical.

On Roku TV remote control, there is a headphone jack. You can use that with a wired headphone or use that as audio output to the headphone streamer.

Use the PlayStation app. For example, I can use my AirPods to connect to my iphone then access my PlayStation app and join chat groups through there. Then I can use my AirPods with my PlayStation and talk to people. Hope that helps

If you use method 2: using a Bluetooth Transmitter, you won't get any audio lag

Different models may vary. They're not all exactly the same. If you're still having problems, please contact Roku customer support.

Hi there! It sounds like you might be interested in a pass-through feature. Pass-through is a feature where you can connect a headphone to your TV and speaker and listen simultaneously. However, the one con to this is that you'll need an external speaker (like an additional soundbar) besides your TV speaker. Do you have one already or would you be interested in getting one? There are a few options we could recommend depending on your setup.

i just bought an updated version of the remote a few days ago; however, the sound quality is absolutely horrible. bass lines sound "tinny".

Hi Dave! Are you saying your TV has no sound (either through speaker OR headphones) at all after plugging into the headphones jack? Or that the headphones have sound but your TV speakers aren't working?

Doesn't work for analog channels.

If you connected the headphones directly to the Roku TV, then it will only work with Roku channels. If you want to watch everything coming out of your TV, you will need a Bluetooth transmitter. avantree.com/oasis-b-bluetooth-transmitter-receiver?

Check your TV supports USB audio out or not.

Lol. My roku remote doesnt have a connector for this, my bluetooth transmitter has zero ways to connect to my roku tv. There is no audio output like my other 25 tvs i have iwned. I purchased an av chord to 3.5mm audio jack converter, it doesnt work. Id like to put my tv into a bonfire now. Its useless while running any appliance or ac.
