I've gone through 15+ videos here in KZread, and most people are racing through these "explanations" as if we all understood what a pixel actually is. I am however relieved that you are able to explain, as well as show us a simple way to both understand, as well as see what a pixel actually is, and does. Thank you for showing us!

Hi, you cut and edited the video right when you were going to enter the page URL into the test section - why did you skip that part? This is the part that is throwing the pixel error saying it’s not found despite the pixel being in both shopify (active) and visible in this section of Meta Event activity.

One of the best videos by far. Loved it mate. Installed pixel just watching this and tested. Everything working fine. Thanks heaps.

due to ios 14 update maximum of your user data won't transfer to pixel properly. That's why you need to set up a Conversion api dynamically & enable datalayer . Then you will get all the data in your pixel.

i think with facebook the major issue is you have to wait, wait and wait again before it's start working... i waited after 30 minutes my pixel finaly is finaly active but still i think i have to wait more because it's not tracking event yet i just got one page view and that it...

Yes at times, it might mean you have the pixel installed twice. Try removing any apps that you may have connected your Facebook account to that adds another pixel

Hello, on the Data Sharing pixel, it had Instagram pixel instead of the store pixel and I clicked that. How can I change that to store pixel, because it's now caused a whole nother set of issues on my FB Store? When I click create a new only the Instagram one comes up? My pixel turned green and seems activated, yet when I try to registrate any data, it won't track it. It's properly connected to Meta and Shopify. Does anyone has the same issue?

My purchase event is firing post purchase when a customer checks the order page. Is there a way to stop this from firing? It is very difficult to track actual purchases and measure my FB ads.

For tracking actual purchase checkout & other events you have to set up your pixel through Google Tag manager. And must setup conversion api (server-side-tracking) dynamically to optimize your ads performance. Thanks.

i can't seem to get this to work. i set up the pixel etc. and it seems to be connected fine when I check it in the business suite. but then when I go to create an ad and select the profile I want to adverstise as, it assigns another pixel that doesnt' seem to exist anywhere else. not in shopify. not in my facebook business manager. and there's no way to change it

It won't show if there are no events. Try putting through a test order to fire the event

say if i wanted to find that code; where does the app put it? i can't find it on the header on the theme.liquid file? does it put it somewhere else?
