Either line or cd is OK. Phono is nono because it is very sensitive audio.

It is configured as required by Virtual DJ software and mixer settings.

Virtual DJ sends the feed to left & right side as stereo Basically Virtual DJ would make both decks as mono and will send first deck in mono format to left side of the cable and second deck to right side in mono format

and what about headphones? can you connect them and hear one track when it's muted before you mix it?

Yes this will work for that. Try following the steps in this video. win for you

Nice hack, but it's not particularly useful though. All you can do is contorl volume on the faders. And now you have you to mix virtually AND physically at the same time.

Yes it can be played. I have not used any license to present this video. First connect your Virtual DJ 2020. Then follow this as per the video. Virtual DJ Setting - Setting > Licenses > Connect

Only the mixer here is active, 1000 MK 2 does not work with this

Yes, I understand you. Here the setting of Virtual DJ should provide the audio output as per your requirement.

On virtual DJ 2023, It asks me an analog mixer license.. (with the cable as described ) ! I fixed the problem by using Mixxx software instead.
