This does not work for me. I have to plug into the USB to get it to work. It's a pain. But android auto works seamlessly to my mom's buick. My honda has been less than good. Disappointed. I have a 2022 Accord with dinosaur tech. And don't get me started on not having individual psi readings.

Same with my 2022 Honda CRV. I purchased a wifi dongle and got it to work that way, but now that I've purchased a new cell phone, even that doesn't work. I have to use a USB cable, and my phone tends to overheat when it's at 100% charging for long trips.

Same with my 2020 Honda Ridgeline what a pain and a joke Android auto is that I have to plug in my cable every time. You think they would get such a simple thing right what a freaking disaster Android auto is I can't stand it

it didnt work really. but somehow in messing about. my phone was able to reconise the bluetooth connection and started hotspot. so now i just use maps or youtube music on the headunit. tbh i dont want messages coming up on the screen, as they would be a big distraction. however i might get a smart watch for that.

does the new ZRV (uk) support android auto wirelessly now or is it only supported by connecting a usb cable???

I have a 2023 Ridgeline with wifi, but I can't find any way to use AA wirelessly. It only works with cable. Not a big deal since it will also charge it, but so so confusing.

I have a 2023 Accord Touring with wireless Android connectivity. I set this up per your instructions, and the map icon shows up on the menu list, but not the contacts or anything else. They are marked as available in the phone app but they never appear on the 12.3 display.

Is this applicable to honda jazz 2016?

I just bought a new 2024 Honda Civic EX, and it says it's got wireless Android Auto, but I can't get it to work wirelessly. The Bluetooth connection works to connect my phone contacts, but that's it. No other features work wirelessly. And the pictures in the manual for the car don't match my car.

This worked for months on our 23 pilot trailsport. Stopped working put of nowhere. Please work with google to fix. Very annoying

Unfortunately it is not possible on the Honda Civic, not very clear why. No sense.

I don't think 10th generation civics are compat

This video sucks. It skips right from seeing your phone in the car connection menu, to actually initiating the connection succesfully to open the android home screen itself. Doesn't take a 100 watts to see that the entire point is HOW TO DO THAT IN BETWEEN STEP. Once the car "talks" to the phone using Android the rest of the configuration is easy.
