can you explain which part of the instrument is each keybind like is the third lane the snare or the second lane as the hi hat and the first line as the kick drum, please list all in order@@JordieDrums

Hey you can also hit the upbeat again to make the note, you don’t have to hold down you can hit it again so basically eighth notes

great vid! unfortunately coyotemidi crashes Fortnite on my computer so I'll have to find something else

Just curious, what are your in-game Audio/Video Offset and your Input Latency settings? I have an Alexis kit and I found that 5ms audio and 100-120ms Input Latency felt correct. Still playing around with it tho

Something like that was about right to me between 100-120 with input delay feels right to me so good stuff 😁

I'm having an issue where the kit stops being registered the second I open Fortnite, like when I unplug and replug it it shows inputs on coyote but the second I play Fort the inputs disappear.

I’m having an issue, my audio interface (m-audio air 192/4) is not being recognised on the CoyoteMidi App. It shows up on FL studio but it doesn’t recognise it as as a MIDI?

Does is work with wii guitar hero drumkits that require the wii remote to be connected

Probably because the game was made for a console controller first. They didn't expect to have people connect an electronic drum kit to the game

I just hooked up a roland td-1 brain using this tutorial, it used a usb printer cable. Everything works.

for some reason fortnite won't register the inputs even though i have confirmed that my computer does, is there anything i missed or any way to fix this? (im usinga midi printer cable)

Is it recognizing in the software? Are you using coyotemidi and confirmed you see your kit as the input?

@@JordieDrums yes I am using coyotemidi and it recognises each input as a keystroke when typing something in Chrome for example, but isn't recognised by fortnite. Not sure why that happens.
