Exactly my point.. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your easily understood video. I was swamped in owner's manuals, and quick set-up papers, trying to understand, going from one to another. I'm so grateful.
Thank you, that was very helpful.
You literally didn't show yourself connecting the cables in a video about connecting cables.

Really only got a minute and 21 seconds I’m looking at comments 😂 His claim at the beginning of the video 😂😂
Too, my Toshiba DVD recorder does NOT have an HDMI connection. Thank you!
How do i record from my VHS Tape to my flatscreen? Thank you.
You didn't wire anything up ! That was the purpose of me watching this video.
Hello there! Can you tell me please the model of the VCR you used on this video? And which better this or Samsung DVD-VR375? And thanks!
how do I get sound to my tv and dvd/vhr
I can watch VHS video on my TV HDMI. That was the first thing I put in my Sanyo VHS and DVD recorder when I received it in the mail was a VHS tape.
I'm guessing you can't hook the combo up to the TV and then put an antenna using a coax cable and then running a antenna coax cable to the VCR DVD combo?
I too have a DVD VCR combo. I can get the DVD to play, but not the VCR. How do you plug in the VCR? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the same issue I have a JVC HR XVC17 model DVD/VHS player & my TV is a Samsung UN40J5200AF
Where can you get a recorder so I can record off of my vcr on my newer TV,and play it
Will you please help me? I use Pluto, Freevee, Tubi and other streaming apps. I also watch local channels by antenna. How would I connect an older Toshiba DVD recorder, so that I may record the streaming channels and local TV please? THANK YOU!!!
Hi I've got a bit of a problem I am trying to record a video to a DVD as it records a black screen rather than what is taped on the video itself
Where can I get that VCR / DVD combo???
can I record from tv to dvd
so I've a 4k tv and I want to conect my vhs to it I try composite cables but I only get audio, and I know how to conect composite connections also try 3 cable pairs and same problem still I only get audio
So VCRs anymore unless they’re $1000, I have my aunts VCR DVD combo is there a connector I can use because I have Samsung that’s about 12 years old.
What is a recorder
I want to connect a vcr-dvd player to a tv that does not have cable just antena and be able to record tv programa to the vcr, please show me how
why is the reason you can't play back VHS using HDMI port ? Thanks
You said something slightly confusing. My tv doesn't have Composite hookups. All it has is HDMI. But it sounds like you're saying with just HDMI you can't watch VHS Tapes? Can you still convert a VHS to DVD with just HDMI? And then you mention the Composit on the right is for DVD playback. What's the point of the HDMI port if you have to use the composites for VHS and DVD playback? Is what I bought useless bc there's no Composite hookups on my tv? Super confused.
What if your tv only has hdmi not color plug ins
I need help transferring my VCR tapes to a DVD can you help have a Vizio TV and a Samsung DVD VCR box
Wait. Am I understanding correctly that if the VHS/DVD combo even HAS an HDMI port on it, it will not play tapes? My old CRT tv has broken. I tried to find another, and couldn't find one nearby - or, further afield, too high a price for me. I finally gave in and bought an LCD flat screen - it is not a "smart" tv - whatever that entails. Now, I am waiting to receive the remote I had to order in order to use it. Meanwhile, I know nothing about flat screen tvs - although a big DUH, as here I am viewing - but that makes my head hurt. (I do work hard at understanding all this). Anyway, the LCD tv has the RCA ports. Question, please: If I have to replace my VCR/DVD player, (and I think it, too, is broken), I must stay away from any that have an HDMI port? Anything you can advise. Thank you.
I understand the power cord. I cannot relate to your set up with two TV’s. I do not know any twelve year kids that I can pay to do it.
Hi folks. I bought myself a video player for Christmas. I have a problem. I can't get it to work. My television does not have red, yellow and white connections. it has a red and two blues so I assumed if I put the red in the others go in the other one's. I then still could not get it to work so I tried the second method connecting the wall antenna to back of video player then to television. The television is picking up the television channels but it is still not getting any vision or audio from the video player. Any advice please from anyone here would be appreciated. Maybe someone has encountered the same problem ? Thanks .
Sorry, but I think you should try again.

You will probably need to get an HDMI DVD VCR for your TV. You can find those here. spencertified.com/collections/refurbished-vcr-vhs-players/hdmi-vcr?grid_list=grid-view
Before I watch this video I have read all the comments and the only thing I learn that it wasn’t good at all, didn’t teach or show the most important things where the cable go connected, sad 😔
Couldn’t see a thing. Focus on all the colors.
This doesn’t show the actual connecting!!
Well what did we learn? Nothing. We wanted to see the unit set up with the cables etc this video is a waste of time!
Why didn't you show the LITERAL connecting of the vhs/dvd player to the TV? You do realize some of us are visual learners right? SMH...
