how to compute the angle of elevation from a word problem
👉 Learn how to solve word problems with triangles. A word problem is a real-life situation which can be modelled mathematically. Word problems involving angles of elevation and depression, straight object leaning against a vertical object, etc, are usually modeled using right triangles. Being able to translate the statements of the problem into the appropriate geometric interpretation is a major step in solving word problems with the right triangle. After we have translated the statements of the problem into its geometric interpretation, we can then use our knowledge of the properties of right triangles to solve the problem.

it is written on the board as tan inverse not tan

Shift then tan (348.5÷155)
does 348.5/155 =66.02

4:08 4:08 Teacher says “noooo; I’m provided the opposite and the hypotenuse” The proceeds by saying we are going to use Tangent. 👀 Sorry just passing by and noticed this verbal error. Math was correct though.
