Out of all the people I’ve watched to learn compression you made it more easy to understand. Still kind of confused cause of wordplay, but I just compressed my first track listening to you in this video. I even had to zoom in to see where you changed your controls because I’m blind as s***😂🙏🏿

I record progressive metal and melodic heavy metal. Even thou metal and rap are two different styles of music, same rules apply compressing controlling those peaks. High falsettos and power vocals to whispers don't matter, compressing is so important. This is a great tutorial video. 🙂👍 Wayne you're the man.

Great video . I have an issue with the lag on my external . The needle moves and analyzers aren’t synced with the playback audio so it’s difficult at times to see what is getting compressed . Any suggestions to fix this issue will truley help

I'm cubase user honestly i did not even like pro tools but is important to learn how to use it if you gonna work on others professional studios and honestly you explain really good and not boring like others . And yeah pro tools default compressor i need to admit is really decent and good . I'm learning faster how to use pro tools thanks to your channel thanks alot for your videos and the way you explain 💖

This is more limiting than compressing really.And you using too much make up gain, like of course it gon sound better when bypassing if the processed signal is way louder...

Bruh F#$% pro tools straight up They tell you get a macbook pro it's basically made for music editing Also spend $1000+ on pro tools because it's the industry standard But they don't tell you for some reason they STILL do not work together to make sure the Mac updates are compatible with the DAW It has been 3 months since i updated and haven't been able to use pro tools amd if u use time machine I loose all my work I've done Smh this shit outdated and over priced
