Just watched this on April 6, 2024. This has helped me so much. I've looked up a ton of tutorials that just don't make any sense at all and looks like they were teaching you how to put a virus on your device instead so be very wary and smart about that. Don't just listen and do anything! But this one definitely has helped me. Thank you. I wish there were more tutorials like this on youtube!!

I've just captured my first video from vhs to mp4, 1080p, 1.33gb. Just tried to compress it to m4v. Ended up being 1.38gb. Not sure why and which setting is wrong

How long did it take? I just started my conversation and it’s saying 23 hours… it’s a 4K video, 45 min long. Around 17.3 GB

Good job brother. Can you also make a video with the highest possible settings (videos with no compression at all) without being concerned about file size please? When I edit my rendering video files, like adding some text and stuff like that, Premiere somehow compresses file size from 10GB to 1 GB ! I don't want that, I want to keep the file size (10GB) , which means I don't need any compression. Isn't it possible? Because I show my videos to client in my own computer, and file size is not an issue for me. Thanks a lot !

But when you hook it up to an iPad or your iPhone, how can you eject it without just unplugging it, and possibly setting myself up for errors on that drive?

How about larger files that are over 150MB to something like 50MB did this a few times and it just wasn't as small as I would of liked it to be

what about when doing at least a 1gb with hour or two video. i only got it to 500. i tried everything, i wanted it at least 300 mb. there is less space on my hard drive. i can see if its 90mb. i even tried 90mb. it went up to 150 mb even doing low as possible.

i don't understand i went from 120mb to 156.. it got bigger
