I came across your channel on KZread a couple weeks ago, and you have quickly become my favorite golf instructional channel on the Internet. You have a way of really simplifying the golf swing, and in a short amount of time you have helped me get my swing back on track closer to where it used to be. I’m 59 years old and I used to be an 8.4 handicap, but then due to a job change which didn’t allow me to play and practice as much as before, and reverting back to some old muscle memory where I started over swinging and getting my arms disconnected from my body again, my handicap has ballooned back up to about a 15. However, I recently retired and have more time to play and practice, and after discovering your channel and implementing the things you teach, I feel like I’m well on my way to getting back to a single digit handicap because of your videos and your simple but effective teaching method. Thank you so much for your videos!

I don’t know what do now Mr. Jimmy! Yesterday I was happy hitting my 9 iron 125, 8 iron 135, 7 iron 145 etc. Just got back from the driving range and picked up a solid 15-20 yards on every club - this compression stuff really works! I guess I’ll say “thank you” but don’t know if can handle hitting real golf shots- This is uncharted territory!

Hey Jimmy. i played today and followed your advice on chicken winging it. Kept my trail elbow tucked tight and pointed down at top of swing. Didn’t work on every swing, but damn! Basically shot bogie golf on back 9. Shot a 96 my dude! Thank you for giving advice and making this difficult game a little easier. I started playing October 2023 and have goals of shooting bogie golf or better by October 2024.

Found your channel a few weeks ago, been trying to simplify the swing, keep the ball in play, last 2 weeks in my 9 hole league shot 37 and 39 , USGA handicap is 10.5 for 18. Thanks for the content you provide, I can’t get with a 69 degree wedge , yet.

Great video Jimmy, can you do a video of the importance of keeping the wave to the camera angle at impact. I fell into a very short period a few weeks ago where I was losing this angle and the difference with it and without it is astonishing. Sure others would like to see it thanks Paul .

You should do a vid on alignment. You seem to fly by that but you do it well

Hi, enjoy your videos - just wondering ? the grass on your course fairways always looks very patchy ? Why ? Does it affect your play? Am from Ireland -we have beautiful green luscious fairways- but you guessed it -plenty of rain ! This year was build the Ark year 😢 ! Best Wishes

We have to irrigate courses here friend. I we got more rain, not so much. I live in South Texas in the almost desert like lands of Texas. Super dry. Water on the closest course to me is mostly reserved for tees and greens. By August, generally our hottest month, every day over 100, the course is brown. My golf season is October to May, June.

"If you're a 12 to 24 handicap, putting your par is your best friend." How about us 33 handicappers lol? Putting for par feels like the holy grail for me, right now. My scores are slowly coming down though. I'm getting closing to being under 120 every round. Played a couple in Myrtle Beach last week for a bachelors party. Went 126 (putting was awful, couldn't get the ball into the hot tub. 3 putted most the holes). Then went 120 (putting was still awful. Still no hot tub action). But I am happy with those scores considering the amount of hot dogs and Coor's Lights I had during each of those rounds. Going out this weekend. Hoping to be able to report back a sub 110. Last time I was at this course I had a 48 on the front 9 so fingers crossed for that again.
