​@@wh023Really? I guess its an easy one, but tricky. You just point your character to go to the final platform and they will do the rest. Don't forget to jump near the end platform, i learned from the best.

a good lesson on how not to design a puzzle. literally following the steps and it still teleports me out

I pulled the lever by the door, the path is literally highlighted, I can see the path as I’m walking on it, and the game still kills me constantly. This is fucking ridiculous 😂😂😂😂

The carpet in front of the statue also shows the path you can take to get across.

Just click on the statue at the end and your character will automatically walk there! Just don't forget to jump to get up on the platform!

​@@patrik3482it's not a carpet it's stonework but it is literally in front of the statue of shar within the trial area

FYI it's called the faith leap for a reason, just click near that last platform and the character will do the rest. Just make sure you jump into the mist on the last platform.

You can also press shift or go into turn based combat. The movement telegraph will show where invisible platforms start and end.

1.) Thanks so much for this, was really easy to get through with this video 2.) One of the things I love about BG3 videos is for every video that shows how to do it, there's a ton of people commenting on how they were able to do it with totally different methods. Love that this game has people experimenting and succeeding in different ways

The good old “monitor brightness trial”. You can also find the solution by scrolling the screen forward while you’re still at the entrance, and the path is shown as brighter color. They disappear as you walk closer. I just took a snapshot of the screen, then another one for the last half when my character is at the start of the puzzle.

I just turned into a raven and flew platform to platform and it works like a charm. Just remember to ungroup from the others so you don’t wipe your party lol

The issue I have with this challenge is that even if you *understand* it you can't really complete it easily.

My guy just had the ability to see the path. Not sure what it was though. I was using a Oath Paladin.

I got to the end and I can’t do anything? I equipped a blinding immune ring but I still can’t see thru the darkness?

If you have the volo's eye, you can see the path, like a dark carpet, simple as that.

I spent an hour on this using other people’s guides. This is the only one that helped me so thank you! 😮‍💨

All you need to do is go in combat mode and literally place the marker where the ball is. Saved me so much time 😂

i literally struggled getting past the first 2 shadows and the first test 😭😭😭 I immediately gave up and looked this up for the third one

you can also cheese this trial if any one in your team knows "Fly" spell. I was so angry at that challange.... but here we go

I love how you made it look so easy. Like this is hard as heck.

Shadowheart - Daylight to get a clear view of the last spot and then doing Shadow Step also works :)

You can also turn into a bird if you have a Druid and just fly from platform to platform

I’ve tried turning gamma up, only shows like the path farthest from me. Tried turning into a raven, still kills me when I click on the platforms. Tried turn base, doesn’t show me what the path is either. Tried turn base again and just click on the orb, they still wouldn’t go down the right path. Like what are all these comments talking about?

I've noticed that if you have The Blood of Lathander equipped, the white faint dots on the path glow a little making it easier to know where to go. You can still spot the dots if you look closely, or maybe turn up the brightness, but it's easier if you equip that and make them glow.

I don't see anyone saying this. Something important to note: at least for me the problem was that I already had lost 2 lives and I had one orb of light left. This will not work since you need 2 light orbs at the end so that when you get to the last platform with the glowing orb and shadow, when you step in it you will lose one orb of light, but you will not die since you already had 2+. So basically, you don't even have 2 lives, but only 1. If you lose just 1 life it's ok, but if you lose 2 and you cannot load, you will have to start again.

I used two spell slots to misty step to the edges of the statue platforms. Seems the magical darkness couldn't cover every inch so i didnt do anything with the path after dying over and over again lol

I used a pile of bones and threw them everywhere, eventually creating a path of bones and skulls, I found good use for them lol

You can also just use the flying ability or a flying scroll with using the platforms as a quick stop to fly to the next platform until you’re there.

The invisible path is shown on the floor in front of the blood sacrifice bowl. Take a photo of it and follow the left path since it's easier jump the gaps you find along the path onto the statue platforms with dark clouds.

got it on the first try when i did this the first time, had to go back 30 hours to fix a halsin quest bug and now im struggling so friggin hard

I used a potion of vaulting and jumped accoss the raised parts with the statues on, ensure you jump to the far right on the last on with the gem.

setting your graphics to lowest also reveals the path for you. basically shows dark purple tiles you can walk on :) hope that helps!

My settings are set to high and the path is still shown

getting back for some reason was insane

From the far center you can jump on the pillars at the end up against the wall, then jump to the prize.

For those of you having trouble, there are small white dots on the floor if you follow this general path. They're really hard to spot but if you zoom in and go slowly it's actually pretty easy

Yup, I noticed it as I was using my Blood of Lathander and it made them glow gold and easier to spot.

I have no idea why but i can see the steps in my game, i wonder if it’s because i have volvo eye so i can see the invisible, if so the see invisibility spell should help with this trial

For anyone who is struggling with this puzzle and needs a solution, equip any light source and look down. The center of the platforms have this white ball in the center that is difficult to see unless you have a torch or lantern equipped. You can literally just click on those dots and walk all the way to the end.

I just did it first try yesterday without any problems, and wondered if game glitched or I just got extremely lucky
