I was searching for some parenting in Urdu to support my husband understand better parenting methods to reduce his struggles. I came across this; it's great but I feel it's important that when the example was used of 7 year old change the toddlers nappy that we highlight that children are responsible for themselves and learn their basic skills. Rather not responsible for their siblings but if they volunteer that's another matter. I sensed/noticed the uncertainty of parents around the example provided of acknowledging your flaws to your children. As it's important for us to have self awareness as well has to help our children develop emotional understanding of our behaviour we are transparent about our flaws gives them confidence and self esteem to question and remind parents. Well done!

Yes! I rebuke my toddler when she puts her finger in the socket just out of curiosity...but we as parents need to understand her desire to explore the world...actually we are so much stuck in everyday life that we dont enjoy with our kids!
