    i've been having an gender crisis for a pretty long time and im still terrified to tell anyone because my mother doesn't believe that i can make those decisions or draw those conclusions since im "too young" but im at this age that if i start transitioning it'd be better for me now...i hate the way i look but i just can't come out as trans, I've already been disowned by my father's family and im fking terrified

    i don't know anymore oh hi same, I‘m not even trying to figure out my gender rn cause I’m so not in the place to even figure that out and if I ever came out in any way (I can’t even come out as not straight cause that would go terrible) I’d probably get kicked out or sent to therapy so I’m gonna wait with figuring out stuff until I’m in a safe space.

    hey. i see u. im not trans, so i cant really give u a good solution. but take your own time to figure it out. there is no rush to anything. you owe nobody anything, and if they cant see the beautiful wonderful human standing right in front of them, then that's on them. screw them. find those who are supportive of you and surround yourself by those people. I'm pan, so i somewhat get the struggle of coming out. by all means its nothing like your going thru, but ye. and try to make subtle and understandable changes. like style, hair, idk how u want to transition, but mb get a binder if u feel u need to. and if your young, try joining or starting a gsa at your skool. and if you need to, there is a huge group of people who support you. millions of us who always will. you are beautiful, you are strong. there is nothing wrong with you, you are not broken. everything takes time and strength. but most importantly, stay strong :)

    This. Exactly videos like this is why i consider you one of the biggest rolemodels. It means a lot to so many of us out here, hearing you opening up about stuff like selfharm and more. I feel so sorry for what you had to go trough. Even more sorry at how relatable i see this is to so many of us. I ma so proud that you chose to be who you are but at the same time also choose to share your struggles. Never stop making videos like this one.

    I can not begin to describe how important it is to know what you identify as before coming out. I was forced into a situation that had me come out when I thought I was simply a lesbian. Since then I’ve realized I was a trans man and am re-questioning sexuality. This is very frustrating because by now everyone knows me as a lesbian and I have no clue how to set people straight. It also sucks because much of my family is cool with alt. sexualities but not other genders. This has been a psa from a partial closet case~

    It can be really hard to watch things that are gay with that person especially when there is kissing and such but I recommend watching some of the 4 part documentary I can’t remember its exact name but it was on ABC like a year ago and that was a huge turning point for me and my mom everything is still awkward, but now we can have full conversations and communicate how we feel, or like talk about when you came out if it was hard for you and why, there’s gonna be extreme awkward moments but once you get over that things do get a lot better. Good luck friend❤️

    I literally just came out to my dad today (16/2/19) And I realized that about an hour or maybe less that when he told my mother. Both of them would come up to me and say I'm too young to know. Then they'll leave me alone or try and get me help. When they do that, I'll be more dysphoric then ever. Because their not excepting me, that I'm a boy. Then I'll do things that I will regret, or maybe won't be able to regret because I'll have no more time left. What I want you take from this, is to not be like me. Explain to your parents everything. Try to let them understand. And even if they don't, Don't let that get to you, at least try. Because your parent/parents/caretaker doesn't understand, they don't quiet get any of this. Plus they probably grew up seeing all this to be bad, so it's new for them. It's scary to them and they aren't willing to except that. If and or when they do this, tell them that it's okay, you know it's scary, imagine what it's like for me, Just please, remember, I'm still the same, and you being like this, makes me not be the same. Hopefully I did something to someone ( in a helping matter) If not, I totally get it, I suck anyways so yeah From, -Mia- Max

    Probably never publicly opening up about my sexuality outside of jokes cause it’d probably get me in deep shit and I don’t feel the need to open up to anyone it just feels so natural to me that I don’t see any need to “confess” unless necessary the only way I want it to properly come out is through seeing me with someone that happened to be like me but that’s probs just me being the reclusive socially degenerate person I am Did tell a person in a school trip once during a conversation within context don’t know how seriously they took it other than that there’re only a couple of solely existing friends that know Don’t want it any other way tho this is quite personal and I don’t wanna be labeled being an enigma is far more entertaining

I’ve been waiting for a long time for myself to be comfortable enough to come out to everyone. Love u miles ❤️

  • @galaxygal1210
    @galaxygal12106 жыл бұрын

    I’m just going to give a tip, and it might sound contradictory to this video, but it’s super important: if coming out in your current situation would put you in danger, you should wait to come out. Like Miles said, coming out can make you feel so much better about yourself, but if you feel like coming out would get you kicked out or hurt or put you in any danger, then it needs to wait until you’re out of that situation. There will be a time when you can come out safely, and it’ll make you feel so much better to do so, but now might not be that time. If you’re in a situation like this, do what Miles said and find spaces online (or even offline if can) where you can safely be out and also try to get out of that bad situation as soon as possible. The sooner you get out, the sooner you can be yourself. Stay safe and happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈

    Please, please, please take your time. Don't rush your coming out until you're safe. Just focus on moving to a safer and "happier" environment. Remember that coming out is something you do to be truly yourself, not to put yourself in a delicate position. And it's in no way obligatory. I was in a very similar situation (with none of my family knowing) and what saved me was taking my time and focusing on graduating and moving out. Good luck to you and happy pride month ❤🌈

My mother literally said to me: What your saying is bullshit and your line of thinking is completely ridiculous. It really hurt me and I fought back. Now i am stuck in a huge fight with my mom that most of the time even gets physical. I even wrote a whole book on wattpad. Or 2 chapters. But i write that in one day. Im also turning to self harming. I dont know what to do...

    No matter how bad it is, some time it will be okay. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to yell. It’s okay to throw something at the wall. Your emotions are important. But I promise you, when you can leave it all behind and go to college. You can be yourself. Also, I’ve self harmed too. When you get the urge, grad some ice. Hold it in the palm of your hand. It satisfies you with less destructive ways. It is not okay. But it will.

    Every time in having a breakdown about coming out to my parents I come back and watch this video and a few others, they calm me down quite a bit, they get me from sobbing and hyperventilating to silently crying alone in my room at 1 A.M. and that’s a major step. for that I want to thank you. I know you will likely never see this but it’s here I just can’t thank you enough. I feel like you’re here for me even when my family isn’t and that just means so much to me and I’m probably rambling, I’m sorry. But just thank you, you’re incredible. I love you.

    You are so amazing thank you! You have helped me through alot of stuff involving who I am. My parents don't accept me being transgender and most times force being what I'm not on to be full knowingly that I'm not that. It caused much mental pain and self harm that ended in a mental hospital and a hospital and I kept blaming myself then blaming family then blaming the world. Ever since I found your channel a long time ago I started to feel proud of myself and more powerful and open. Thank you

    I’ve came to terms with myself FINALLY and I love myself and who I am. I’ve came out to my friends and found a lot of LGBTQ+ friends online which I really love but I’m sooooo scared to come out to family because I know it’s risky and they might kick me out so I’m staying at the back of the closet.

    This is a video I really needed right now. I came out to my parents recently and they don’t believe me. They say “but you used to wear dresses”. I don’t know how to explain how bad my dysphoria I getting. I’m moving to a completely new area. I don’t have anyone to talk to. I never did. My family is Christian, and I am Christian and I know who I am isn’t wrong, but my parents make me feel so terrible. But watching Miles and having him show how much better things can get, gives me hope!

    Miles, I've been watching your videos since I was about to go into freshman year. I'm a junior now and it's important and oddly meaningful to me that we've grown as people at the same time. I came out as pansexual to my family recently and your videos helped me as I grew up and got older to realize that being myself was okay. Thank you.
