How to Color Your Hannah Lynn Hair with Prismacolor

Today, I thought I would show you how I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color Hannah Lynn hair. I use a different style than the more realistic portraits, and my goal is just to have fun, do bright and happy colors, and take a break from the more complicated work.

Awe you're too sweet. I do have quite a few videos on coloring hair but are you looking for prismacolor ones like I did here in Hannah Lynn or more realistic?
I never ever thought to colour any hair, especially Hanna Lynn hair using prisma's. Thank you for sharing your well thought out technique. Much love & *Virtual hugs *

Rarely do I use Prismacolor for hair, but I do in these books, with her style, because I just want to have fun with it. And, honestly, I prefer prisma on the CreateSpace paper.

Your "bouncy" method of coloring hair in Hannah Lynn's books works quite nicely. It's always fun to see how others color. I haven't done a Hannah Lynn page in ages, but may buy one of her newer books to take it for a spin.

I laugh because if you look at most of my HL pictures, I use that same color. It brings me joy. So, oh well. Haha.

Well, there is a way to flick it out, I just don't do it because I just like to have a little more fun with my Hannah Lynn hair and smoosh colors lol

It is not just a fun name to say! LOL. I really enjoy it with the Prismas.
It is quite helpful to know more about hairs because I dont know how to explain how I do the hairs with my style. Lol for some reasons when I color, the hairs always comes out the best than other areas.

Eventually, you get the hang of it. You can learn the principles, but the only way to find your style and what works is just to start doing it and see where it goes :)

I also hate the tooth on Amazon paper when using Prismas hahaha! Most of the time it sounds like too much work to have to use my blender pencil but I'm so inspired by your hair technique that i might have to give it a shot! Thanks for explaining your method! I've been wanting to try that Lyra blender as well :)

Prismacolor is about the only pencil I'll use on CreateSpace because I can at least smoosh over it 😆

Yeah, you can blend with just two for sure. I tend to just do 3-4 minimum because, well, I can't help myself haha
