I was the whole day trying to figure out how to blend color pencils with Gamsol... thanks to this video, now I know. Thousand thank youss and peace!
This was so delightfully simple and awesome looking. Thanks.
This is a fantastic tutorial! I like florals and portraits, so more of those would be appreciated. I also wanted to let you know that your voice is so pleasant to listen to and your instruction is clear and informative. Thank you! Oh, i also purchased the issue of colored pencil magazine featuring this step by step. Congrats on that excellent work and providing the drawing.

Thank you so much
This video was the reason I bought Prismacolor 150 set, even I have zero talent of drawing and coloring, just copying one step at a time of this video is my weekend relaxation. Thanks 🙏😊
Thank you very much. You are a wonderful teacher. I am glad I found you.
Loved this tutorial! Thanks so much for posting this!
My favorite flower. 😎 Thanks for the info.
I loved it! Thank you very much for this video! 🤗❤️
Gorgeous! Great technique. Can't wait to try the solvent you suggested.😀
Love this, thank you. Know you made this ages ago but if do more color pencil tutorials in future would you say the color name as well as number for those of us using different sets. Might help with matching. Gratitude for your doing this.
Excellent tutorial, thank you!

I'm new to your channel and just subscribed to it. Thanks for the awesome tutorial. Can you please do more flowers tutorials using pastel or color pencils? That would be very awesome. Cheers!
Simply amazing. I never went to art school. My problem is trying. I just believe I can’t draw so I don’t. So I’ve settled for coloring in coloring books designed for adults. There are a lot of florals to color so I can try to apply this technique to some of those. I also appreciate your cloud tutorial. I can use that as a back ground. Do yo have simple mountains?
Incredible. I wish I could draw.

Question. I'm getting into the pastel pencils, but I don't know if the Pastel pencils VS the Pastel Blocks will be better? Do you know which one is best before I spend my money on either one? Thanks! Marty,

Indeed it does.
Your videos are quite helpful but they are not quite visibly clear. As in this case, its a bit blurred.
Do you recommend rubbing alcohol for a solvent? You're incredibly talented, I just joined your online tutorial club and I'm so excited to learn from you.

I never tried it, I use Zest-it. I have tried other mineral spirits that also work well or turpinoid solutions that are used in oil painting.

@@UnmaskArt thanks for the reply. I've only ever tried alcohol... And it does blend/smooth, but I can't compare it to anything else nor measure it's quality against anything else.
What do you think about wax built up in prismacolour? i just bought a set and am scared of the wax built up ruining my art, so want to exchange them.

Never once had an issue with it and I’ve been using them for 10 years.
I have tried to find Zest-it blender, but it is only available in the UK, and via Etsy in the US....where is costs more to ship it then the actual product. Suggestions?

The solvent you use doesn't matter. I live in Poland so zest-it is my option here. But trust me use mona lisa or gamsol and it works exactly the same.
Pls show similar colouring using polychromos
just beautiful. but I just don't think I could do this...
What is the name of solvent?
How long do you think a beginner would have to draw to become somewhat of a quality artist ?
@UnmaskArt

1 year if they have the patients to avoid rushing through the boring stage of learning. Could be faster if you have a good teacher, should see what some of my students progression.
..so I have only 12 (polychromos) coloured pencils and I really want to draw a flower because my Grandma is ill in the hospital, not sure if she'll make it. My mom is gonna leave to see her in less than 10 hours so I only have tonight to do it and she lives really far away... wishme luck :/
