Hey bro. Do you have this option in bimmercode like to not check outside bulbs 💡. I mean lights. Cuz I want to install led,but it could give alarms. So can I deactivate this through this app

Hi, it honestly never came to mind, unfortunately my model is base first edition, got a couple geeks like auto light heated seats but nothing fancy, it would be great to try it on a more capable car 🚗

Is there a monthly subscription payment with Bimmercode or it's just a one time lifetime payment? And secondly, do you know any other App that supports the E46 generation as Bimmercode doesn't.

Well there is no monthly subscription with bimmercode, but in e46 I would suggest app like ISTA and BMW Tool, make sure to configure it with k+dkan cable, then you good to go, there are a few videos around on how to use it. let us know how you manage 👌

Hello. Great review... One question-in case of replacing battery-in Bimmerlink is written: " ...After coding, the battery replacement has to be registered using “BimmerLink” additionally." Hmm-Bimmercode is not enough? B-) I talk with one our mechanic, who said that coding and registration is not necessary for X1 i have. (I have X1 XDrive, 4/2012, 143HP, diesel). Thank you for your time..

Thank you for watching 🙏 so let’s see if I can clear this for you Since 2002 the battery for BMW’s needs registration, if you don’t can cause the new battery to fail prematurely, it will work anyway but you need to consider most BMW models require registration. I personally upgraded from a ventra to a bosh “AGM” 3 years ago without coding it, and it’s working. On bimmercode you can change amp but you can not register, you will need a software such as esys bimmerlink Carly etc. or just the mechanic down the road for the registration.

B-) I forget to tell beore: old one was VARTA 80Ah/800A-AMG, and buy new one also VARTA 80Ah/800A-AMG, because its start/stop... For that mechanic ( not from BMW service.. :-) ) said its not necessary. any way, i will go to mechanic just to check.. I replace it just one hour ago, and works.. Will see tomorrow if CC-ID 415 is still on display.. Thank you so much for helpfull answer!

@@ambroz2779 there still a chance tomorrow after a sleep cycle or 2 the error on the dash is going to disappear, but, if we want be picky, I would still get the battery registered, it’s not coding indeed, if you don’t ( like me) it may shorten the battery life

Marlboro M2C thanks for watching 🙏 It’s definitely worth trying, it personalise the car as you wish, extra features I didn’t know I had. On newer models with new tech and geeks, it can take hours going through all features, there is also to consider that the OBD device can be used with almost every app related. If you consider to buy I would suggest to install the app in advance, it will help you to use a demo version, you can choose your car and see in advance what you can do 👍 Excuse the long answer 😅

Good question, the short answer is no, you can not read codes or clear them, Bimmercode works with a secondary app called BimmerLink, here you can actually do the read n clear, among other things. Hope this helps 👍

I think you should check airbag module, download demo version, select your car model and see if there is the option, there is an huge amount of mods, better to double check 👍 hope this helps

So, I replaced the OEM head unit because had no screen before, it was my wish to get the idrive joystick screen etc. The car didn’t seem complete without. About the obd2 device, there are so many different device, all of them with similar spec, the one I’m using is for BMW only, but, there are others like Carly, there you can go in any car plug it etc. Hope this is helpful

hello dude ! i have veepeak ble+ and x1 e84 sdrive 18 143cv. same car, after 1 month using bimmercode on samsung galaxy m53, now i cant connect :S only error connection all time, im tried to unpair and pair the veepeak with 1234 code. but cant connect, im tried erase cache but doesnt work. anyone with same problem bluetooth problems?

Hello, I can understand how this can be upsetting, so I would personally try to understand where the problem began, it can be the phone or the veepeak device, so try, with the phone, to connect to other devices and make sure it works, devices like Bluetooth speaker, headset or anything else u have available, make sure u can control it with Bluetooth, second thing I would try to use the same app on a different device/phone, at this point if it still doesn’t work U know it’s the veepeak device and this is unlikely to happen, ar this point if the problem persist I would still try to download a free to use app such as carscanner and try to connect to the veepeak device, if the problem still there u can definitely ask for a repair or replacement as the device won’t connect to anything. I genuinely believe the phone is the problem, unfortunately on android the app may not work properly. I hope this helps, if you can let me know if you sort it out it would be great. Praticamente mi suggerisci questa app per modificare ad esempio la rimozione dello start and stop, vedere lo speed e la temperatura della macchina e se si può anche vedere la benzina che rimane per quanti miles?

Non c’è modo di vedere la temperatura con bimmercode, c’è la possibilità però, che ti segnali temperature alte, rimozione start stop si, quanto riguarda la benzina rimanente puoi impostare a quando ti dia l’allarme , poi ci sono centinaia di altre modifiche, di corsa ti consiglierei velocità digitale sul computer di bordo, nn riesco più a farne a meno

@@zioboss4432 c’è ne sono un infinità, apertura e chiusura con conferma acustica, attiva l’allarme anche e attivalo anche sulla chiave , puoi farlo scattare in qualsiasi momento, poi ti consiglio di andare menu per menu e leggere tutto, molte cose sono anche gusti personali, con l’allarme faccio sempre saltare chi ci si siede sopra, poi ho impostato che quando apro con la chiave apre solo la mia porta, se voglio aprire tutto schiaccio 2 volte

thanks a lot for watching, looks in US is cheaper, also it turns out to get a complete app we should also buy the app Bimmerlink, it cost as much as bimmercode, with bimmerlink you can also work dpf issue register new battery read and clear codes and etc. Hope this helps
