Think big, no details (specific methods) 1) ability to get things done/integrity 2)problem solving/critical thinking 3)talk about importance of communication (building relationships = great team = great products)
Legit having a C-Level interview next week with Product Owners and VP of design...wasn’t sure what to say (since it’s the fourth interview). This is super helpful!!!!
You did it again, Mike :) You've helped me get yet another big job in product design. I was nervous to try that closing remark trick, but I did it and got an offer the next morning. I've been watching your videos for like... 8 or so years lol and just wanted you to know your videos have been an important part of my career growth. Cheers!
Final interview with the product manager is tomorrow so I’m using this to prepare !!

Thank you for your input! Really change my mind about the long interview process! This video is a Gold!
Hey just came across your channel. You're so much more normal / less hyper than a lot of the job advice out there. Thanks so much for making me feel normal too and less stressed about the interview...
Perfect timing, i have an interview today
Thank you so much! Having my last round tomorrow and definitely needs these tips:))
Mike, I have only three things to say -> Agree, Agree, Agree. Outstanding advice. And Yes, having been on both sides of that interview process, these are the things I would look for in a new recruit coming onto one of my teams.
you are the best! i'm going into my interview soon :) super excited to take these tips into consideration!
great tip, i have a final stage interview next week, will def keep this in mind~ thank you

Lovely tips. I have not gotten that far yet but I am refining all my things: prototypes, resume, next is my LinkedIn.
I always come back to this specific video when reaching the last round of interviews. These tips helped me boss my last interview round and get my last job, thanks Mike!
Very helpful thanks Mike!
0:45 Being Hired Instantly When a company doesn’t vet you long, there could be folks in that company who weren’t vetted long either Big Details: Leave out the UI. 1:34 C Level Executives care about the big details. Everyone likes you, they are there to see your personality. 2:22 Talk about three things Your integrity Your ability to get things done. your problem solving.
I disagree about the long interview processes. 2-3 interviews is one thing, but dragging it on longer than that tells me the company likey has difficulty making decisions and likely has too many people involved in the hiring process.
Thank you mike, This is very helpful.
Thank you it really help nailing my presentation
I needed this!!!!
great advice, i've used these tactics before, i always close when i get to a 3rd round.

How many years of experience do you have?
Thanks for this great video. I am also on my 4th round interview. I put together a deck for a candidate led case for an IT focused solution. I’m an Enterprise Architect. Deck was submitted, assume it looked good enough to setup the next interview. They setup a panel interview with the hiring manager and two other senior leaders for the end of the week. Will definitely keep the info you shared here in mind for the interview!
Super helpful, thanks!
Thanks Mike - just discovered your channel! Couldn't be more welcome or timely as I head to final round interviews tomorrow.

Thx for this video! Going in for my third interview tomorrow and I’m a wreck lol. 🙏🙏
Thank you so much for this information my friend 👍👍👍
Hey Mike, could you do a video on Design Challenges that applicants get in the interview process? How to ace it etc.
Great insights fam.
This is such a helpful video! Can you please share the problem solving video with me?
good tips
Good one
I had a six month long process with six interviews and didn't get the job in the end. I think this doesn't mean it's a legit company, I think it rather speaks to their inefficiency.
Wonderful! I have my final interview Tuesday this will help! :)

Hi Mike~~ I think your video is easy to follow and I want to learn more from you. I was just about to subscribe your "bluecode program," after I submit my bank information, your website can't load anymore, and it showed under maintenance. I am not sure what the process right now? did I subscribe successfully?
2 rounds of interview is the best. 3 rounds is normal, but 4 and more is RED FLAG!
I think there's too much emphasis being put on the company, no company needs to do that many rounds of interviews, taking up people's time and not being compensated for it only to find out a week later they went with someone else. Two rounds of interviews is enough to vet a candidate. What a lot of companies are failing at is not doing design task or white boarding sessions to see the candidate in action and how they communicate and what they communicate to show how they go about the design process.
