Guys, legit the most difficult part of this is the timing it out part! Took me seven tries to get it right! Let me know if any of you try this. I wanna see your videos! 🤣
@KevinKos

We had to do like 4 or 5 tries in our latest episode about the Aviation cocktail ✈ You can see the director helping out with the timing and the shadows by playing out the "other" role. Wait for the bloopers at the end ;) Fun fact, he's a proud owner of a 'be a good human' shirt 😎 Also, we did a clone effect in the Gibson episode. Which one do you like more? Would love to know what you think!

Hey David, great video btw. I make piano videos, and I have this idea of playing with 4 hands, so basically cloning my hands. However, they will absolutely overlap, and even though you said it's much harder to do , I really want to make it work. Can you suggest any video that explains it? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for this video David. Out of all the cloning tutorials I've seen, yours was very detailed, to the point, and easy to follow in just a show time frame.
nice work man, your almost 100k, your the best for vids on cameras and editing because you've got a great PERSONALITY! nice intro btw
I've seriously watched 5 or 6 different premiere pro cloning videos and this is the only one that went through the small details in between that we're really holding me up. Quick and focused video with all the important details. Great Video 👌

This was so cool and really simple! Thank you so much David. Although I wished I had watched this prior to shooting my shots because I realized that my shots probably won't work because I shot it outside so clouds and sun and background changes. Oh well. I'll see what I can get it to do. Thanks!

This is great! Now I'll never be lonely during lockdown.
This channel is soooo good. And funny too. Love the personality. Bit embarrassing but I used to do this effect by roto brushing frame by frame for sometimes a whole day. One day I had euphoria to mask. I felt like such an idiot. But the feeling of innovation and creativity (though not really) was well worth it and I regret nothing. If only I saw this video earlier...😂

Great video!
I don’t think this was the video I watched before I took on my last project but I just wanna share I just did this with multiple shots that didn’t match!! Thought it was impossible but I was able to merge the clips by making a matte on a clean edge like a door frame or the edge of a dresser, then slid in the 2nd shot behind it. Did a little resizing so they match and boom 💥 Mostly done in AE and used Premiere to clean it up if anything popped. Variable Feathering helped! Also added a little motion tracker if the camera drifted. Worked out very nicely! ❤🙏🏿💯
Amazing video love your videos
What a video! Thank you so much!
This is for sure the easiest way to clone. Thankyou for this. Will definitely try.

Nice video as always man, although I still don't understand why the pro photographers like you use premier... I swear that a lot of things are way easier in vegas pro, could you please explain why premiere is the first choice of video editing program for pro photographers? I want to know why am I outdated.
@DavidManningvlog

Honestly, the main reason is that it’s been around so long and been at a relatively high level of quality for so long. I first used it 17 years ago and while I’ve tried other programs along the way, every time one of those programs failed me, I found myself making my way back to Premiere. I think a lot of people are that way. Something else looks compelling, they go try it for awhile, but where it fails them, they come back to Premiere. I for sure don’t think it’s the best platform currently, but it’s pretty damn good👍
