Thanks this video is super helpful, even for someone who doesn't play Xerath often! I feel like some of the tips you gave could be applied to most supports and other mage supports.

it would be cool to see how you play some other champs. but i understand if you want to stick to what youre best at. also i rarely see people post the videos when they took a loss but i think those are the best ones to learn from

Is mid not as viable for xerath in s14? At the end of s13 i was having a great time on him but now its so much harder. Also I see u playing him supp more.

I love mid lane Xerath and it is very viable. Just saw a lot of comments wanting to see more support Xerath so wanted to show some content there

I did these recordings in emerald 3 so should be perfect.

I know nothing about the NA meta, but trying a build like this in EUW is sure to get you flamed, and who could blame them? You're building Xerath as an enchanter, or a tankier healer/debuffer if you will. There are several champs who do that job much better than Xerath ever could. Sure, damage is overall higher this patch, but that's all the more reason to press even harder and itemize like a proper glass cannon: those 400 extra hp won't save an immobile mage. I understand that Dark Seal is more of a preference, despite how ridiculously efficient it is, but even putting aside the new Luden (which is kinda trash) and Stormsurge which will soon be nerfed again, you have the evergreen Shadowflame, or Malignance if you need mana early. Hell, even Horizon Focus is sort of good right now. Again, it might just be a region thing. But not seeing those four digits numbers on the screen after a couple R shots hurts a bit, you know?
