Yo Alois. Please do Darius next. I think that for top lane nooobs it's almost as beginner friendly as Garen and teaches you the importance of aggression in lane. As a former ADC you have successfully converted me to top. Love your vids and keep up the great work

@@joshuam4880 I agree he's not, maybe in terms of gameplay concept overall he's similar to garen but he's without all the mistake fixing tools like the cc cleanse, the dmg reduction, the passive heal etc. He's basically garen but more skilled. Something like mundo would be better next.

Please do Sett, he recently got his ultimate fixed so he no longer suppressed longer than the enemy, and his q applies on hit spell effects now including shojin, with these changes this patch his winrate climbed to 51% I love this champ and would love to see how you think climbing with him is best done, perma fighting early? Teamfighting a lot? Split push with tele?

try to improve your laning matchups , always try to win lane. From there its easy. Get top and bot t2 towers, and look for flanking opotunities and only join teamfights when there is obj , or you can flank from behind , without beeing seen. Other than that stay sidelane 95% of the time. This works on any toplaner

Lane bully like trundle seems ideal since high level mechanics not needed

Hey Boss, quick question: Sometimes you take over lanes from your mates because you got what you want in top and want to expand your lead on the map e.g bot T2 Turret. Do you think it's always the correct call to be "selfish" and force your mates to follow your call as sometimes they will have to wait until they can farm again because top is pushed to t2 and your adc/mid can't go that far to farm the waves so they will end up aram playing sharing EXP until that top wave finally comes back to them.

Started playing garen after being stuck in silver as gp for a while. This video and playing garen helped me a lot in focusing on fundamentals and winning. Currently on a 7 game winstreak, no losses yet, thank you!

Do kled hes has great one v ones, has a high skill ceiling but is very rewarding if you can master his kit. One of the few toplaners that are under the radar and can stomp games easily against most toplaners.

Why is the first game buy tri>stride>blcleaver? Isnt black cleaver typically only bought to provide "support"?

@AloisNL I think this series would benefit from breaking down the pieces of fundamentals into the ELOs. Some of the tips you give for the bronze game for instance are too high level for them too utilize and end up being a mental load they don't need. A bronze player should not be trying to track the enemy jungler for instance. Maybe something like: Combos (and matchup dependent combos) for Bronze, itemization and wave manipulation in silver, macro play in gold, and jungle tracking and other things you keep in mind for plat. And then maybe for each higher elo you can still mention the things from the previous ELOs?

so a few tips from a Garen otp for you Alois xd 1. 35:00 example: W usage was great, as it grants 60% tenacity for the first 0.75 s, so you shortened Amumu Q duration, but you could also hit AA + Q + E to proc phase rush and escape faster

Great video, chose to main garen in an effort to get to master. Trying to balance the game among real life aspirations is challenging but rewarding. If i get masters i will be sure to comment!

I already had my wet dream accomplished with the many videos on Yorick and also the unranked to masters with him but it would be interesting to see you doing this kind of video with another beginner friendly champ, Mordekaiser maybe, between him and Garen the 2 champs I use to enjoy a simpler gameplay in normals after too much ranked games

1:01:50 I would like to add here my example on how his argument is important. I came from DotA to LoL and basically my only fundamental was that I was very good in CSing. I got to plat without learning any of the other stuff. Nowadays, for reasons out of my control I have to play with high ping and despite having adapted everything else to the high ping, I cant CS well and have to play Support and Jungle. Without my csing I struggle to get out of Bronze. Just my example of how good csing can carry you very far.
