    Great video, thank you. Used all your tips bar one and my rope climb is brilliant,a multiple climbs to height! I’ll implement the ‘wedge’ with knees apart on my next practise and work on descents same as ascents. Than you so much for your great instruction! 👍

    Best tutorial. Emphasizing knees out, wedge, almost sitting squat on it. Then stand up. I think the best explained and demonstrated among all the other rope climbing vids.

    The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. kzread.infoUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.

    Awsme video. Finally. I will definitely try it on my next workout. I have a problem on the transition aspect. I can't seem to do the second move. I can do the initial hook but moving up my feet dnt wrap again. Idk if that makes sense; hence, don't go more than the initial hook.Any advice on transition drills?

    Great video as always. Could you please do an extension of this video to show the descent part with the sliding down technique? I’m pretty good at going up the rope but I struggle with the descent doing hand over hand and fatiguing my biceps eventually. Thank you so much

    Great tips & technique on how to climb the rope. So the dominant foot is the top foot when I am clamping down on the rope? I ALWAYS seem to be missing my foot placement when climbing the rope. Should I start on a smaller rope for a workout?

    Is there a correct foot we would want on the bottom and correct on the top for comfort? For example I kick with my right foot in soccer but if I were to say jump whether basketball or long jump I'd use my left. Which foot do you guys put on top the bottom one naturally for rope climb?

    I successfully got my footwork down to where I’m stable on the rope but upon my first climb up, my footwork falls apart. Going to practice more and more to get this skill down

    I’m able to climb a rope, however, my biceps get smoked before o can climb a full 30 feet. What would help me here? More conditioning or better technique? For conditioning, I don’t have a rope to climb and I’ve noticed that pull-ups do not transfer over the same way. Help?

    Braulio Torres working on your footwork will most noticeable difference you can make. Check out the foot positioning again, and when you have it locked in you should Hardly use any biceps!!

    How much weight is actually on arms and shoulders? How much is on the knees? My son is 58 and was doing cross fit. He has bad shoulders and knees are bone on bone. He still wants to do the ropes. He says not weight on the arms and I can't believe that. He is to get shots in his shoulders.

    I’m new to rope climbing. When I try this it twists my shoe off of my lower foot. I don’t have this problem with other footholds. What am I doing wrong?

    I would make sure you are pushing your knees out, so pressure in pointing in the direction of the rope and not down toward the ground!

    Without looking at this video , I thought about my youth its all about strength to weight ratio not raw power. I would scale up these ropes easily and effortlessly as a child. Much more difficult as an adult.

    disagree, too much energy folding yourself in 1/2. best to pike your legs out rope outboard on dominant side. if not, tuck-v and do like wise.

    That method J-hook was proven to be a outdated and very Risky climbing method....Not good. The military has seen more broken ankles with this climbing method 😳. Professional climbers and SF military guys will tell you to stay away from this.
