Hey what’s up Adam👍🏽I just wanted to let you know you are using all the right methods to clean the belt, but before you even start it’s important to use an air can to blast off any and all dirt particles that are in the details of the plates because if you don’t you’re essentially dragging all those particles across the metal with the cloth and causing unwanted scratches. I had both the wwe and WCW 2mm.. The WCW one was the best version imo.. that was my first replica.

Do you use the Windex on the leather as well? Can I use leather care like the ones for car seats for that?

I don’t have a microfiber cloth but I have a cloth that is used for glasses. Is that good enough?

Idk what kind of cloth you’re talking about, so I’d recommend spending the $5 to get a microfiber one because it’s worth it to not scratch the title. 👍🏻👍🏻

I just got my officially licensed WCW belt that i won on eBay. It's a little old but doesn't look bad. Could use a good cleaning though.

It's actually better to use spray wax for cars on belts. You'll get a much better shine and the wax will also add a protective layer. I've been cleaning my belts for years windex will eventually ruin the finish of the gold

That’s oxidation and unfortunately not fixable. The price to replate them is more expensive than a new belt. Sorry. :(

I’ve been told to only use ammonia free and that’s all I use and I have not had any issues, so I HIGHLY recommend using ammonia free.

@@stephenfink5009 yeah I agree, I've had mine for two years and the leather on their sucks and the scale of the fandu belt is not accurate. It does look good because of the detail on the plates itself, but again the strap and the scale of the belt is disappointing.

Dumb question, I am a brand new collector and do not have the money to buy the fancy replica belts, I did however buy 4 Pakistan belts for the price of one authentic belt. Sorry for the rant, I guess I am asking will this work on knock off belts too? Lol

The experts before me, always said ammonia free, and I don’t know if ammonia does anything to the belt, but I’ve only used ammonia free, so I’d recommend not using windex with ammonia just in case.

Everything seems to be good. I have them in the display behind me so I haven’t closely examined it but I don’t see any huge spots. I can check them out later and see but I’m pretty sure it’s all good.

Make sure to use a microfiber clothe so you don’t scratch the plates and just take your time it won’t take long because if you rush it you could break off a piece

@@AdamentalityWorld thanks man. I just took em out this weekend and lightly polished em with an eyeglass cloth, I take out the IC tonight (my freakin favorite) and there's a big stain on one of the small side plates. Freakin sucks!!! Thanks again, I'll definitely try it

@@AdamentalityWorld you're right, it's not like I went broke buying it. It is a bootleg. All I hav is something called spray n shine with ammonia nitrate in it. I don't think I hav the right cloth either. It'll give me something to do after work tomorrow. At least the main plate is still that classic block design the greats wore. I personally think that the largest and thickest is better because it weighs about the same as the Original Belt that was designed and made strictly for Rick Flair. To bad all Replica Belts aren't made his like the original ones are and made of the same material.

Yah use the ammonia free windex with a micro fiber cloth and maybe some water too if it’s a lot of dust and dirt but rub carefully so you don’t scratch them too much.
