WOW ! Thank for uploading this instructional video. I just bought a new Juki HZL-F300 and want to take great care of it. Been sewing for 5 decades now, and know the importance of cleaning out the lint and changing out the needles regularly. This will save $$$ and a lot of frustration. Will have to purchase some of those cleaning pads.
Just got my new juki machine and this cleaning process has helped a lot! Thanks😊❤❤
David is a fantastic videographer and Boki does fab work at demonstration. I appreciative the instruction and the surprise. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the kind words.
Love my Exceed 400. I cleaned it under the bobbin case and dogfeed. That was a mess. But it's even noiser. I love my almost silent machine. But it's loud now.
Finally watching the video, bummed that I missed the sale!

Thank you! Awesome video. I recently purchased Juki F600. Love this machine. I want to love it and take care of it. So helpful!
Awesome video! I clean mine after every project and sometimes more often if it's a long project and I notice lint buildup. Thank you for going the extra mile with the cleaning. 🥰
Thank you! Used the code to get the oil and the cleaner thingys.

I have both the Juki HZL-DX7 and the TL2010. The DX7 is a breeze to keep maintained, and I usually clean out the bobbin area after every project. It takes all of 5 minutes. The TL takes a little more maintenance, but it isn't difficult as long as I clean and oil it regularly.
Great video ... thank you so much!!

Thanks for making this video as I’ve just got a used F600 that thankfully does work. Just finished cleaning as best as I could since it was filled with thick pieces of lint 😮💨.

Great to hear!
Boki your tutorials are very helpful. Can you please create a tutorial on setting the tension on a Juki bobbin case, for example when you purchase a replacement bobbin case it may need to be tightened/loosened etc Thanks so much 💙🤍💙

For computerized? We typically let our repair man do that as I've heard its not easy.

I didn't know about the oil.
Double checking on oiling the DX-2000QVP. I heard it didn’t require oiling. Can you please clarify. Thanks!
I appreciate your videos. Any idea why my machine won't recognize that the presser foot is down? I have f300
Those bobbins need a purple heart!
How to sharpen the cutter
Lol piece of broke needle I need to check the inside like described. Just ordered the cleaning stuff.

I vacuum mine out every other week, have that nifty vacuum set too. One day I came in my sewing room and found 3 red wires on the sewing machine bed....overnight a mouse got into my machine and chewed out a few wires! it was soooo crazy! (and I use it every day so it had not been sitting long)

I clean below the bobbin every time I need a bobbin refill.

I'll clean mine (HZL-f300) after 1-3 bobbin refills. It depends upon the type of thread I'm using. Coats & Clark - each bobbin. (I got a lot of this thread when I first started sewing. I'm kicking myself for it now that I've used thread that is so much better. Now I'm trying to use it up.) Cotton - every second bobbin. Polyester - I've found my machine doesn't really need a clean until bobbin 3.
Please 😊🙏 .. What machines do I need from ''Juki'' to be able to set up a project to make leather bags !? .. mean the kinds of Juki that might benefit me ..

It sounds like you may be looking at the industrial 1541s but this really depends on a lot of factors. Give Gigi a call today 10-5pm est 813-376-5015

I know this is old but wanted to add my 2 cents since you didn't specify which gauge of leather you wanted to sew. Almost any domestic machine will sew thinner leather but it would take an industrial type of machine to sew thicker leather.
My Juki HZL f600 has a knocking noise. Do I need to oil it? I don’t have a maintenance manual.

Ooops….I’ve made a big boo-boo. I was cleaning my machine and thought the “fuzz” thing on the left was a bunch of jammed threads. And I pulled it out. Now the thread cutter doesn’t work. Can it be fixed?
@JukiJunkies
Жыл бұрын
That fuzz only helps with your lint. Doesn’t have anything to do with cutter. Look carefully around for threads preventing it from moving.

@@JukiJunkies Thanks…I’ve taken it apart and looked for debris, thread, etc. Can’t see anything, but I’ll try again. At least you’ve assured me that I didn’t wreck my fairly new machine. Whew….

I did it too. I've had my Juki Hzl f600 for several years and I clean it after almost every project. I don't even remember exactly when this "brush" disappeared. I'm a little angry because I take care of my tools…but in the user manual the description of cleaning device is very short and doesn’t present the information from the video above. There is also no information about the oil.
Should I take this in once a year for a service or can I get away with going longer if I clean it well often?
@JukiJunkies
10 ай бұрын
Once a year is recommended for sure. However if you're good at taking care of the it you could go longer. (Removing bobbin case and stitch plate and cleaning in there well)
Boki, No can air, correct? Want to make sure wife dosent improvise. I sent this video to her.
@JukiJunkies
Жыл бұрын
Correct NEVER use compressed air on a machine.
@meacadwell
Жыл бұрын
No canned air because it contains chemicals that can adhere to the internal parts making thme not able to work. And it can push lint further into the machine possibly ending up where it seriously should not go and possibly damaging internal parts or computerized parts if it's that type of machine.
Bobbin cases are 80 bucks😱 can you do a more close up on how to put it in ᑭᗴᖇᖴᗴᑕTᒪY? My Juki 300 is my absolute baby I love her so much and I don't want anything to happen to her.

Yes, it's a RIDICULOUS price for that little thing. I could see it around $35 but $79 USD??? I just had to replace my bobbin case because the cloth ring the bobbins sit on wore out and they don't make replacements for that ring - you have to purchase an entirely new bobbin case! I purchased my HZL-f300 on sale for $599 four years ago. $79 is almost 1/7th of what I paid for this little plastic doohickey!!!!!!!!
