I do the same for my jewelry but instead of a baby's toothbrush I use my Sonicare toothbrush. I'm very gentle with it but it gets all the crud out of the tiny crevices. I finish it off with steam. I have nice jewelry and I keep it looking nice. You do beautiful work, if I thought you could reset my wedding ring in 6 days I'd send it with my son to London at the end of March. He's going to be at Abbey Road recording for 5 days. I have some saint medals that are pretty old or really need to be polished up, but they were cheap (but still special to me for personal reasons) and I don't wanna spend money to have them polished professionally, so it's really helpful to know that just some water and baking soda will do the trick!

In the States, the best washing up liquid is Dawn, as it cuts through grease. In addition to washing up liquid, I use a little ammonia in very hot water, with a soft toothbrush. My diamonds come out crystal clear.

@@mkg2124 well yeah actually I was watching this video to see how to ultrasonic clean gold/silver/platinum/palladium jewelry. I could honestly care less about a diamond especially when it’s likely more abundant than gold is. People only buy big diamonds to talk about them/make up for the size they don’t have down there 😵 People would get no use out of their $50,000 stone if they didn’t get to talk about it every chance they got.

I took my cartier wedding ring to polish it and it turned out beautiful after few year I took it again to polish it they advised me not to do so because it will damage the ring design and I totally agree with them polishing should be done one or twice not to damage ur piece
