@@gailbirchall2163 good old fashion “ witch hazel” works great! It has a natural drying agent and disinfects. OR apple cider vinegar but my preference is the witch hazel for its drying properties. The cleaning agents that the vets cell are rather expensive.

what is the nama and brand of that drop?

I have the med, and it wants me to put a LOT down into the ear canal. We normally cannot get down into the canal, and just rub where we can and then the dog will shake it's head to remove some of the liquid. ⁉️⁉️But ,some dirt and liquid is left in the ear, and is that OK? We can't get down into the canal where it's gone. Please advise. 😊😊

It shouldn't damage the shape of the ear, the ears are bendy anyway like our own. However if the ears droop after that could be that they're just tilting them because it feels odd to them, but if it continues it could be the sign of an ear infection. If so ask a vet.

I never had to clean my dogs ears. My vet actually say i shouldnt because it can destroy the natural balance in their ears. I only rawfeed, maybe that got something to do with that. Im guessing kibble fed dogs have more problems with their ears

It don’t matter what you feed them, if they go outside their ears will get dirty eventually just from playing outside ?

heating the food takes a way a lot of the nutrients. Air drying, raw, etc. are good choices. @jamieandrick6541

I showed my little beagle Hank and pretty sure he looked at me like.. “try it tubby” lol

What if the dogs ears are too small to get you finger all the way down?

roll the cotton to make it smaller, like you would do with a piece of paper for your ears :)

You can use diluted apple cider vinegar, half water and half apple cider vinegar.
