I hope my biggest problem ever is that someone is using a little extra water to make sure no problems with dentures.

A suggestion. To save water, it's better to put a towel in the sink rather than using (and finally wasting) water. The towel will provide cushion in case you drop the denture while cleaning.

Agreed i just lay my damp washcloth in the sink to prevent breaking if dropped....

I am using dentures for whole day and at night I keep in box providedby dentist I put water in it so they are soaked well then I put tablet in box for cleaning and in morning I take them out clean with water an keep in mouth using Fixodent adhesive

I do the same and love the Fixodent too.

At present, I'm doing something like this, using Surcare Unscented Washing Up Liquid, but I only partly fill the sink and use a squeeze of the liquid in the water. I'm also, afterwards soaking the denture in a denture bath, for 3 minutes and then rinsing. Do, I need to do the denture, bath soak, every day, or is once a week sufficient? Thanks!

Yes, because of what the dentures are made of, they are very porous and will trap bacteria. That’s why people who wear partials/dentures are at a much higher risk of getting bronchitis and pneumonia.

What kind of soap? Why don’t you turn the water off while you’re scrubbing?

How archaic, separate spouts for hot and cold, haven't seen that for more than 60 years. Get with the times Paula.

Is Dettol hand wash good for cleaning it? Asking for a relative. She has been told to use the tablet once a month for cleaning.

I use hand soap. Hope that's okay.

You really don’t need to use that much water to clean the edges specially when it likes to fill up cesspools

Please explain why soap and what type of soap isn't soap made with different comical ? That might not be safe for your mouth either, as well as the teeth. Just asking

Any dentist will give you a brush. For the amount I paid the place that did my dentures better give me free brushes for life lol.

Line the bottom of your sink with a towel.

Oh my gosh the water waste, here in California we’re in a constant drought. I wanted to reach though the screen and turn of the taps.

I'm in the US where plumbing codes prohibit separate taps/faucets for cold and hot. Such a waste of potable water is unnecessary when a mixture of cold and hot is possible with a single tap/faucet.

Denture with cannot eat while eating falls very froud process very bad process
