*EDIT* This doesn't work for vertical windows. Vertical windows there isn't any way to get underneath. *FINALLY* Someone who shows how to get underneath. With a vertical window, can I pull up like you just did to expose the under channel? I need to get underneath because it is clogged.

Hello, Yeah, it doesn't work for vertical windows. You can try to use a mix of 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups of water to clean the drain lines on PVC windows for any space that's hard to reach.

Wow, so we've been having issues with our horizontal sliding window leaking. From your video I realized the track in our window looks like it's been installed in a flipped orientation. The downsloping portion of the track is toward the interior of the room!

Hello, It depends on the window design of hiw they out their frame in. I am not sure what you mean by Downsloping portion, but If window is leaking from the top, then its not window issue but issue with House Envelope. If your house is new, then it will be covered in warranty for 5 years from Possession Date. If not, then you can contact exterior envelope contractor to inspect and fix. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What type of tool should you use to clean the actual drain hole/weeper? A pipe cleaner of some kind?

Hello Tara, Sorry for late reply. I would recommend using squeezable lubricating bottle. Its easily the available. And when filled with water, it can be squeezed to release water and it works to remove any debtis that might be stuck in the drain hole. Hope this helps Thanks

Can a window leak from the weep holes? Its raining and the water is building up on my sliding window tracks..

Hello, If water is building up in track, that means weep holes are clogged. You will need to clean. Water doesn't come in from weep hole and fill the track. Please let me know if this doesn't help Thanks

@@How2 I took my window out and there is no actual track. Because I can see both weep holes. And the water is coming through from the weep hole because one of the covers is broken so there is no where for the water to go, besides stay in the window sill and build up. Do you have an email so I can show you with a photo? And how would I go about making sure I get the right track for this window.
