Thanks so much for the tip! I tried this (used the oxiclean spray since I didn't have the powder) on my Vans that are about 5 or 6 years old and VERY well worn, thought that ground in dirt was never going to come off, but most of it actually did! Thanks!

This is a great hack, I didn't know I needed.😆 All joking aside, I really appreciated the detailed tutorial. I especially liked the rinsing off portion at the end. I would have stuck the under the tap and potentially ruin the upper portion. I can't wait to clean all of the white footwear. Have you tried it on footwear that isn't white? Do you have any tips on what not to do or clean? Thanks again for a great video. 😉

So happy you found this helpful! OxiClean has products available for both coloured and white items. Their new versatile product would probably be a good option. Avoid getting any suede or leather parts wet - the colour will bleed and leather can get damaged. Good luck reviving your footwear!

As I said I used both Oxy clean and shoe cleaner and both did the same pretty decent job. Then I went to use the Mr cleaner scrub and it really got rid of most of the ground in part. Still not brand new looking but 95% clean. I'm referring mainly to the bottom of the shoe, the sides were pretty easy to clean.

I have some, Italian made, leather motorcycle sneakers. The shoes are black with white rubber soles. These shoes were quite pricey, so I’m a little hesitant to try the oxi near the leather. Maybe I could use some painters tape to protect the leather, 🤔. Thanks for sharing!

I bought new shoes on that famous online site that starts with an "A" and the shoes were extremely dirty, not discovered until a year later, my fault. I used shoe cleaner and this oxy clean. Both did the same job but couldn't get rid of the ground in dirt but still 10x better than before.

I'm a shoes cleaner but the way I see in the video your shoes our new of course is going to come clean don't clean it for a whole year and I bet it won't come clean

question. if the oxyclean accidentally gets on a black part of the sneaker, will it ruin it?
