I wonder if you mixed the peroxide with some baking soda and made a paste, brushed it on, and then covered it with plastic wrap to keep it from drying out if it would make it any easier. Tape off the colored areas with painters tape and make sure to remove air bubbles from the plastic. Great video!
Awesome video, thank you for sharing your tip.
This is wild!!! Such a helpful video. Thank you!
Wow! What great information. Thank you.
The inside was just the moisture from the other side. It would have done the same if it had been exposed to water. Great tips about using the paper towels. I'll have to give it a try!
Great tutorial!

Any tips to working around the face? I’m assuming the peroxide will take off the paint (seeing as you were so careful not to get it on the red)
Wowza!!!
Any thoughts on how to clean vintage Inarco ceramic that has a velvet-like finish. The piece is filthy. I can get the painted pieces clean, but worry anything damp will ruin the velvet.
Does this work for mirrored ceramic pieces? Just got a cute shiny silver piggy bank from goodwill that I want to redo, but it’s grimy and chipped in places and soap and water did not get the gunk off
👍🏼
I bought some spaghetti poodles today. Do you think the peroxide will work ?
Did you whiten everything?
I have painted a ceramic bisque piece and then antiqued it. I am not happy with how dark the antiquing is. How can I lighten it up
Think it will work on Snowbabies? We acquired a collection bit many are actually tan brown not the ceramic color. Trying peroxide but need more than the 3%. Another vintage tuber recommended the cream peroxide and strengths of like 30%

Excited now. There was a serving plate, bluish white with a windmill..Nice plate but looked like dirt has soaked into it. Going to do my first test clean tonight.
I volunteer at a Hospice Thrift shop and someone donated some vintage luncheon sets. They are wrapped in tissue paper and some of the tissue stuck to the plates. When I tried to remove it, a layer of the ceramic came off. So I'm afraid to unwrap the rest. They are beautiful...any idea of how to get the tissue off without damaging the pieces? Thank you

Hm, that's not something that I have encountered. But if it we my piece I might try to dampen the paper to loosen it from the ceramic and carefully peel it off. I hope you can save them!

That worked great! Thanks so much
How about using toothpaste with the peroxide in, and using a brush to try to get into the craze. Or trying a peroxide paste.
