How do I clean my Tineco S5 Wet Dry Vacuum? Many of us ask after we purchase a cleaning machine how to clean and maintain it. Here is a step by step cleaning process of my favorite wet-dry vacuum!
How to Clean Your Tineco S5 wet dry vacuum:
As you know, this is my favorite machine since it vacuums and mops simultaneously, but many of you have asked how to keep it clean and maintain it between cleans. Let ne show you
1. Once you are doing using it, run the self cleaning cycle on the vacuum to remove any gunk or debris stuck in the channel! EASY!
2. Remove the machine from the charging dock and remove the dirty water tank. If any hair is in the filter, simply tap it out over the trash can.
Open it up and dump out the dirty contents, GROSS!! But so satisfying!
3. Rinse out the dirty water tank and let air dry!
4. I like to remove the roller and cover after each use to let it air dry so no moisture is trapped and causes a foul stench. I always rinse the cover after to get any debris that may still be stuck. You can then rinse the roller-if needed. Set both aside to air dry
5. Remove the clean water tank from the back and dump out any remaining clean water. Set aside to air dry.
6. Use the brush attachment that the vacuum comes with if you need to remove any debris stuck in the channel.
7. And I like to wipe down the exterior and base charging pad afterwards for a fresh and clean machine! I only do this when needed though :) (Que, Danny Tanner, vacuuming his vacuum lol) 🤣

I have the same model (S5) and I think it has an issue, could you tell me if yours behaves in the same way, please? While I am using it, if I move the unit at an inclination of around 60 degrees it pauses, the vacuum stops working but then if I reduce the inclination to around 40° the unit works again. Assistance says it's normal but I had another S5 in the past and I remember it was not working this way...

I don’t think I have had this issue. I use it at the full incline. With no issue! I would ask them to update it!
I think this machine would break in less than 3 weeks for me. I live in a ranch sand pits 3 boys and a dog that come in and out of the house like a play house. I have too sweep and mop 4 times a day.

Wow!!!! I have had mine for over 2+ years and no issues. I have dogs and run this a few times a week. Totally worth it for me!

I dumped out dirty water and any remaining clean water /solution because (just like a mop bucket) you don’t want to let the water sit for days before you use it again

so you don’t actually CLEAN it?
Don't waste your money I loved mine until it broke for the second time and they want $150 to " fix it". Again. Note I have had it a year and a half. And I very rarely use it like twice a month.

Do not waste your money on this crap it’s worthless. It’s a piece of shit not only that, but they don’t honor the warranty. Keep your money in your wallet don’t buy this crap.
