This is an important video that you brought forth. A lot of people don't know about it. A vacuum cleaner will make short work of cleaning that filter. And keeping that filter clean is very important because it's the inlet for cooling the two batteries in the Prius C, both the traction battery for the hybrid drive, and the small 12V battery that operates everything electrical, except the hybrid drive. That's the lights, the radio, heat/air conditioning, power windows, etcetera. Toyota states to replace the 12V battery every five-years. The location of the 12V battery for the Prius C, is under the rear seat, on the opposite side of the rear seat that the video here took place at. Info is in the Owner's Manual. Important to know about the 12V battery is that if it goes dead the car won't start because the 12V battery sends the signal to start the engine.
