How to clean Insta360 AcePro saltwater corrosion with apple cider vinegar.

Even if you try your best to clean your action camera after a dive you can still end up with some corrosion. Its best to clean this as soon as possible. In this video I'm using apple cider vinegar to neutralize and clean the corrosion on my Insta360 AcePro.

The main difference between white vinegar and apple cider vinegar is that white vinegar is distilled, containing exclusively acetic acid (the acid used for cleaning) and water. Apple cider vinegar contains carbohydrates, vitamins and other water soluble minerals that may leave residue. You're best off cleaning with white vinegar. White vinegar tends to be more potent up to 7% acetic acid, while apple cider vinegar is 5-6% acetic acid.

@@codylander oh and also the difference between corrosion and rust is that rusting is a form of corrosion, but exclusive to iron and iron alloys (like steel) when the surface comes into contact with water and air. Corrsion requires surface exposure to air or chemicals on a ceramic, polymer or metal. Both result in oxidisation.
